Alright, the paragon thumper...I found a skill that 2x better than RaO and low energy cost...

so..

now...its tested and works well(for RA at least =p)

Res can be replaced with another hammer attack if you want. I find that [skill]Yeti Smash[/skill] is a good option to use, and my favorite. Maintain FtW and spam gfte to keep Soldier's Fury activated. Adrenaline won't be hard to get. I also recomend a zealous mod on the hammer because paragons only have 2 pips of energy regen...>.<
Now, If i can get someone else to verify that the build works....

uhh.. Have you tested this build, aside from RA? I don't think you really need GftE and Find their Weaknesses. One of the strong features of the RaO Thumper was the ability to inflict Dazed and Deep wound; you really only needed Bash + Crushing, and Bestial Mauling if you wanted the Dazed effect on the caster. With your build you have 2 sources for Deep Wound, which seems a little overboard. You also don't have a speed buff... As for me, I haven't really tried much of this myself, although my brother has played with the concept of it. I would add Watch Yourself as the shout to keep Soldier's Fury up, and maybe Lead the Way for movement boost. See if that works any better perhaps.

yea, I toyed a bit with the idea of lead the way, but it just costed too much energy and with paragons only 2 pips of regen well...also I needed a maintainable shout, which means no adren...so If you find one that would be viable PLEASE let me know...

I know that this build is heavy on energy, but bare with me for a second. The use of all the shouts will surely make the energy batteries stay fueled, but realize that all hammer builds are heavy on energy and that a paragon has the same regen as a normal warrior. Yet, a high enough leadership attribute investment will make things more bareable.

I have a Radiant armor set and could use a zealous or furious hammer to keep such a build like this up, however,a spear paragon would possibly be better for energy management.

The reason that the hammer thumper ranger is so widely used is due to expertise and its influence on skill cost. Leadership has a similar effect, but not as much on cost but on energy regeneration. That means that energy regen has to be augmented, which means more shouts. It can be a tough balancing act, so my build may need more tweeking.
