A/D GvG Ganker: Shadow Light
After seeing the nerfs on Feigned Neutrality and Shadow Of Haste, I decided to make a new build for GvG ganking. It's proved effective and reminds me of the old A/E shock sin b/c there is no condition removal, but on the plus side it has a better heal.
Attributes:
Dagger Mastery: 11+1+1
Critical Strikes: 10+1
Deadly Arts: 6+1
Earth Prayers: 8
Weapon Sets: Zealous of Fortitude for energy (I use Talons of the Forgotten), Secondary Wep to switch while energy cool down (I use Daggers of Xueko)
Armor: Radiant or Shrouded (but if your not having energy problems any type would do) (The highest Vigor Rune you could get is also helpful, I use major vigor)
Skills:
1. Shadow Prison {E}
2. Black Spider Strike
3. Twisting Fangs
4. Disrupting Dagger
5. Vital Boon
6. Signet of Pious Light
7. Shadow Walk
8. Dash
Variants:
- You could also switch up Shadow Prison {E} for Aura of Displacement {E} and replace Shadow Walk with a hex (such as Mark of Instability, Siphon Speed, etc.), but I found it a bit energy intensive.
- Shadow Prison can be replaced with any other Elite hex in the Deadly Arts and Critical Strikes line, the most useful would be Seeping Wound (adds more degeneration allowing quicker death) and Siphon Strength (lessens Dmg Melee and Ranger Npcs do to you). You'll want to get the hex with quickest cast time b/c you'll want to kill your target as fast as you can.
- You could use a major rune of or sup rune of dagger mastery for more dmg, but I dont recommend using them for GvG ganking b/c you want as much health as you can possibly get. However, for any other situation such as RA, TA, or AB it doesn't really matter if you use the major rune or sup of dagger mastery.
Usage:
I won't go into detail how to gank targets, but basically you'll want to Shadow Walk to lone NPC gaurd, then follow up with Shadow Prison for hex. Then use BSS+TF and use Disrupting Dagger to disrupt key heals or skills such as Troll Unguent on NPC archers. Dash to cancel Shadow Walk if you need to escape.
This build isn't great, but it's good at what it's meant to do. Any advice to make it better is appreciated. It's late so sorry if I made any grammatical errors. If you can also come up with a better name for the Build it would be appreciated too.
Credit: Me (also attack skills based on original Black Widow build, so creator of that gets credit too)

Why not bring Seeping Wound instead of Shadow Prison for just a bit more degen on your combo? NPC's won't run off anyways, so any hex will do.
Bringing Seeping Wound would give them just a bit more degen to make the killing faster, and another plus is its shorter recharge.

I'll put that in the variants section of the build thanks for the idea. Siphon Strength would do pretty good to since it lessens the dmg the archer npcs do on you. The only reason I placed Shadow Prison as the hex was because it had the fastest cast time (only 1/4 sec cast), whereas Seeping Wound and Siphon Strength have 1 sec cast time. You want to drop the hex as fast as you can when ganking.

Umm yea thanks for contributing nothing to this build, but I know Siphon Strength is 15 energy. Thanks for pointing out the obvious :P. I listed under variants for a reason you don't have to use it, it just helps against lessening dmg you take. Next actually post something I can incorporate into the build, b/c I will listen. Otherwise if your just gonna post utter junk, you might as well just not post at all. I dont need smart remarks.

You should be glad he's not advertising again for his Yansassin or Yangassin
But he's got a point that Siphon Strength isn't the best choice for ganking, shadow stepping should be enough to avoid damage, SS's damage reduction isn't needed at all, and the energy cost is simply debilitating.
As for the casting times; afaik, no npc's have interrupts, and this build is actually faster, when you look at how many times you can 'fire off' the chain; Shadow Prison lets you kill something every 20 seconds, Seeping Wound every 15 (TF's recharge).

But Saphatorael, Shadow Walk = 30 secs rc. Or you should switch between archers and Guild Lord protectors.

Just go restfull breeze and mending touch - which are better than vital boon and Signet of Pious Light.

O ya I completely forgot about monk secondary. Thanks, now this build can incorporate a heal and condition removal. I'll put that under variants, since Vital Boon+Sig is still great spike heal. Vital Boon also gives you an extra 72 health, which helps at times.

siphon strength effects more than makes up for the energy cost by allowing you to crit practically every swing. IIRC it adds ~30% crit rate, making your crit rate at LEAST 60%.
