Hi folks...

Looking for a bit of advice on this build. I am a big fan of the BA/Steam combo, but I know it could use some tweaking. I'm pretty new to pvp but we all gotta start somewhere.

Equip: Druids with Attunement runes all round, barbed recurve of defense with +5 e. Marks 14, Ex 10 and Water Magic 8. I know some major runes would help but it pains me terribly to lose all that health :/

Steam
Blurred Vision
Screaming Shot
Distracting Shot
Troll Ung.
Whirling Defense
Res Sig

I don't think that Blurred Vision fits well. Its a mighty expensive Throw Dirt if you ask me. Granted its harder to remove, but I think you may find some better uses for that slot. You could try and add Apply Poison for even more degen, and increased pressure.

If you really want a 15 energy Water Hex, try Frozen Burst.

Also, Having Expertise at 10 in your current build gains you absolutely nothing. You have no 15 energy skills. You could put Expertise at 9 and raise your WS so TU actually does something ^^ or if you intend on using apply, increase the duration of poison.

I actually played around with BA/steam for awhile but found that it didn't do anymore damage than say just replacing with hunters shot or screaming arrow, both of which (can) add bleeding bringing degen higher. I also like apply poison. The BA/steam concept is great don't get me wrong, I just don't think it's worth it.

Thanks for the great advice. Yeah the hex was mostly an afterthought. Think I will try Apply Poison and drop Ex a notch for some WS. I like Throw Dirt also but I'd rather not get in too close if I can avoid it.

... I posted to this and it never showed up. .. So in short:

*Steam is cool! I never thought of that.
*Frozen Burst just got a buff.
*No reason you can't use Apply and Screaming along with Steam.

Preparation? If you want BA to be really devastating, use Apply Poison as well, that way you'll have poison, bleeding, and burning!
