Rit Lord Build
Heya.
I'm working on my Rit wich is gonna be a rit lord.. I am going to use this build: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s....php?t=3061432
Only that (as it stands) shelter has been nerfed, sucking too much energy, and i dont know how much energy/hp you got of boon of creation before its nerf, but they say it HAS been badly nerfed.. Anyway, Do you think i can play Rit Lord with that build, without shelter? Boon of creation is kind of a key skill, (I think it is, but im not an expert xD) but i dont really know.. If any rit lords out there see this, please submit your build
Thanks in advance!

The entire rit lord build was kinda nerfed. I would strongly reccomend not playing it at all, there's just more effective things you can be doing.

Hm.. Well now i feel dumb cause i threw pretty much money at buying skills, the runes, and a new hat for it.. Well i tihnk im gonna play a spirit spammer, and then rit lord as a skill would be good... Right?
Then can ANYONE tell me what they play, and their build. I really dont want to play restoration though.. I didnt make a new char because i wanted to heal, i already got a monk for that

It's just not a rediculously easy button-mashing fest anymore. People keep saying its entirely worthless now, many times people who seem to have never even played a Rt.
Especially if you've already thrown some money into a setup, give it a try anyway, and play around w/ substituting some skills.
If you bother to read passed the "zpmg it's nerfed this build is worthless" edit in zingers guide, there are some people towards the end of the thread that've come up w/ several ideas for better energy management / skill substitutions.
Just play around w/ it. Who knows, you might come up with a variation thats the next nerf-begging build ').

*shrug* hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there's just no way to keep your energy alive and kicking without an energy elite. Restoration rits are actually pretty fun and play very different than a monk. You could try offensive spirit spam with signet of spirits or some such, works pretty well.
EDIT: If you have a spawning power headpiece already, spirit's strength warriors/assassins/paragon are pretty ridiculously fun too

rit lord offensive spirit spammer is working fine still, I find it actually works better on a ranger primary for energy as well although the damage will be slightly reduced. On a rit primary I go 11+3+1 communing and 10+1 in channeling and spawning. Skills I run usually are:
[skill]Painful Bond[/skill][skill]Essence Strike[/skill][skill]Pain[/skill][skill]Bloodsong[/skill][skill]Shadowsong[/skill][skill]Ritual Lord[/skill][skill]Boon of Creation[/skill] and either res/[skill]Dissonance[/skill] or [skill]Disenchantment[/skill]
Normally I run this with heroes and henches without res for finishing bosses and take dissonance, but some places disenchantment will be better. Essence strike helps with the energy, and you can keep either bloodsong or the optional spirit on constantly as needed sometimes both. Painful bond on the target as energy is available.
edit: essence bond-->essence strike (typo)

Use a standard rit lord build, but swap out rit lord for Well of Power if you're on corpse heavy areas. Works a treat in most of Cantha, e.g. Vizunah square, eternal grove, Gyala hatchery.

I suggest that rit lord now use with other spawning power skill. Like rupture soul, spirit to flesh.Which ofcourse boon of creation.

If you still have enough money to get offensive spirits, Lennymon's build will work great. I guess you could try doing something with Union and Displacement, but the issue with Displacement is that it lasts about 2 seconds (at best) before it dies. You could possibly replace Shelter with Recuperation (it costs the same amount of energy, but will last longer than Shelter barring any monsters that decide to destroy it, so it needs to be cast less often). It won't be as effective as the glory days of Ritual Lord, but Recuperation is a worthy spirit (back when I ran Ritual Lord, I used both Shelter and Recuperation, but those days are long gone).
