Default R/W Frenzy?

i just began my playing my new ranger/warrior in prophecies (much better looks then nightfall) and i discovered that combining frenzy + a preparation works great!
A.) being ranged means that the "take double damage" really dose not matter, especially with my pet rooting or holding aggro
B.) your not sacrificing damage yourself and getting twice the time out of your preparation
C.) Dual shot dose not effect the preparations damage so (in my case using ignite arrows) I'm wielding a long bow of fortitude (7-10) so you get about 11 dmg + 4 X 7 fire dmg

just wanted to recommend this to anyone who is low level and fiddeling around.

The general consensus is that Frenzy is great in situations like that, *but* you would be wise to bring a canceling stance so you can get out of the double damage penalty if the enemy decides to focus on you.

while frenzy does indeed work to that effect right now, you will find that it may not be the best choice in the long run, as your role in a group may or may not be to dish out the most damage. also, as you unlock other (probably better) secondary professions for your ranger, you will find more synergy between your ranger profession and whatever profession you decide to go with should you choose to change.

you can always change back to a profession that you have already learned so dont be afraid to experiement. best of luck.
