Arrow Monktastic's P/E monk builds:

Monktastic's Ub3r monk builds:

1.Bonder
2.Heal/Prot
4.55 Monk

1. Bonder

Bonders are useful for many things such as, FoW, SF, and tombs. A good bonder can have up to -5energy regen. But i suggest to start low, and grow.

Monk/Mesmer

12 + 1 +3 Prot
12 + 1 Divine
Rest, Healing

1. Life Bond
2. Life Barrier [E]
3. Essence Bond
4. Succor
5. Healing Seed
6. Mantra of Inscriptions
7. Blessed Signet
8. Rebirth

Equipment:

Yakslapper
Worths Holy Rod + Worths Icon

First, life bond everyone in your party, using blessed signet when appropiate. Then use mantra on inscriptions for faster blessed signet. Succor the other monk(s) to give them +1 energy/health regen. Life Barrier and essence bond the warrior. Viola!Fantastique!

2. Heal/Prot

These monks are good for any level of diffuculty. Mainly in a place where the warrior isnt so good at aggroing. Like missions such as Thirsty River + Dunes of Despair. Its more of an advanced build because you need to know your stuff.

Monk/Mesmer

10 + 1 Healing
10 + 1 Prot
10 + 1 + 1 Divine
5 Inspiration

Gear:

10/10 staff req Divine Favor (i use a 9/9 ghostly)
- Wenslauths Faith

1.Signet of Devotion
2.Aegis
3.Healing Seed
4.Mantra of Recall [E]
5.Haling Touch
6.Protective Spirit
7.Reversal of Fortune
8.Rebirth

Firts, Manta of Recall yourself. Then, seed the warrior when he's about to go in. Use healing touch on yourself if you are getting attacked. If the warrior drops aggro (which they frequently do) then use Aegis. Always remember mantra of recall is on you.

3. 55HP Monk

55hp monk is good for soloing Griffons, Hyrdras, UW, FOW, and even running to places such as Copperhammer Mines and Marhans Grotto. However, this build shows you how to stay alive and is not for damage, good for 2 man UW.

Monk/Warrior

10 + 1 + 3 Protection
10 + 3 Divine Favor
10 + 3 Healing
5 + 3 Smiting
5 Tactics

Gear:

Holy Rod +5 energy while enchanted
-50 hp Grim Cesta
Firey Flame Spitter w/ +20% ench grip (optional)

1.Healing Breeze
2.Blessed Signet
3.Bonettis Defense
4.Spell Breaker [E]
5.Prot Spirit
6.Balth Spirit
7.Mending
8.Devotion Aura

Start out by casting all 3 enchantments on you. Then use blessed signet. Cast ps on you and go in for the aggro. the point is to keep ps on you so the monsters do 5 dmg all the time to you, and have a large regen, so you are pretty much invincible. Switch in and out between FFS and the holy rod. use FFS when you cast spells, and the holy rod to kill approaching mares. once you get good at this, i will teach you how to solo UW. just ask me ingame for a lesson or 2.

P.S. These builds are not set in stone, they are what i prefer over any other builds. one of the reasons i put them on guild wars guru is to see what i can do to improve them, and also help other monks find some new ways to do some stuff. I would appreciate any Comments/ Questions / Concerns if you would. Thank You

Bonder:

replace essence bond with balthazar's spirit. Use spirit on yourself, that way each hit that comes through life bond will generate 1 energy for you.
