I've been talking around with some farmers over TodA.... And just can't get a clear answer... So thought on this topic... If you're not moody to post, just state a time and gold (items value included). The detailed posts would help a lot, especially if you've experienced more than one farm.

Please, post the results and run times, average of course.

Need opinion on UW 2 smiters, UW SS/55hp, UW 55/Famine, FoW SS/55hp, FoW dervish solo, Trolls, and whatever you usually do.

i usually do uw(w/rt)dwayna's(w/mo) or doa(r/me)

Since America barely has favor when I am on I am usually farming ice imps outside of Marhans Grotto with my W/ME, the drops are not great but I make about 2-3k a run and it takes about 15 minutes. Like I said, not great money but it will keep some cash coming in and give you something to do while you wait for favor. (Assuming you are on America servers).

For me, the Elementalist as a whole is the best farmer nowadays.

There are so many builds, places and bosses to use and farm with that Warriors go "Durh...What sparkly stuff?" with us anymore.

I enjoy it, but I hardly abuse it. I do it when I'm in the mood, but am focusing on my others characters I need to pull through Nightfall (and a couple through the other campaigns, eek!)

Personally I <3 trapping. My best UW run (which is what I do atm) yielded 5k of drops, 4 ectos and 3 keys. In just over an hour.

yes because its like certain that one of those would drop in an hour.. jeezuz

Id say UW is more profitable than Fow atm, comparing ecto vs shards.. ofcourse, the difference is not huge either, imo its about a steady 15-18k per hour (sometimes doubles or might even tripple, but usually..im also soloing with a warrior, but hey??)

Thanks a lot to the ones that replied. I'd just like to ask you guy's to reply with normal item value/gold of the drops you acquire, and not the best you got so far or so.

Also really needed to know some experienced opinion (or just someone that has tested) on the UW dual smite run, UW 55hp+Famine, and UW 55hp+SSnecro.

And keep showing off your soloing achievements, this post is all over that too.

Maybe you sthould make your own guide... hehe... nice setup man! i wanna try this now! My poor Rit hasnt seen UW since the AV/SV nerf... sad

I think it's more like, cruel, splinter, agro, glads, use cruel again (it makes the first 1 drop, thus causing damage), cruel, drop, ancestor's, cyclone. I could be wrong though.

That being said, it does look terribly efficient but I can't help but feeling that now it'll get the nerfbat after a month or so since there's a vid of it on youtube and now it's posted here. People with rits/people bothered to make rits just for this will be able to get a lot ectos before then though...

The ele sandsorm run is still the fastest imo, you can take 4 mobs of smites at once and kill them all in around 20 seconds.

The W/Rt build is painfully slow, not sure that really compares to the others.

Since the melee aoe flee nerf, SS necro can be very painful to run..

But the vid used a Rt/W with high channeling. Another proof channeling outdamages ele damage.
