Default Fiery Bow Strings Local

Hey folks,
Been playing awhile and never seen one of these drop. I was wondering if they are partial to drop in certain locals. Can anyone shed any light as to where? Or, is it just dumb luck?

I know I could just buy one...but I'd rather find one.

Thanks,

-AN

If a Blue,Purple, or Gold Bow drops you can ID it and it might be Fiery Bow of Something. Then salavage the Fiery String.

Thanks for the response eggsOwn, but I was looking for the location that they are partial to drop in...if there is one.

Nope mods only vary in quality, I've never heard of that sort of thing being more common somewhere... just skins vary like that. The fiery can be on even lower level drops (dunno the minimum item level though). My suggestion is to go to wherever you can kill many things really quickly and pick up all the blue+ bows.
Edit: obviously a solo build would be best for efficiency

Any white/blue/purple/gold bow can be equipped with a fire string after you id it, so it's a random drop anywhere in all 3 chapters, no specific spot. They sell really cheap.

Just a quick note - if the un-id'd description of a bow says it does X-Y Dmg as opposed to X-Y Piercing Dmg then it has an elemental bowstring on it.

Maybe dead bows in Gates of Kryta farmed with holy barrage?

Some mobs/locations are definitely more likely to drop bows then others, that's about as specific as you can get.

FoxBat,
Thanks for the advice.
Took my monk out on Villany of Galrath (sp?) and found my fiery string.

Good advice, 'preciate it!
