DOA 3 Nukers ZzzZzz 90 Secs Spike OMG
Meteo Shower 5 sec cast 60 secs longest Cool down recharge , with the sac
90 Secs.
Which come down to one spike every 90 Secs.
I'm thinking there are some other skillz like Earthquake 15 secs recharge.
I don't do much DoA or GoA.
Any GoA, DoA expert point me out , better spike build?
I was tanking last nite , and fell asleep.
basically , 4 monk D, one support , 3 dmg dealing Elie.
Any of you do with some other build rather than Fire Elie to spike with?

also if u just use Glyth of renewal u can cast MS every 15 seconds..just the casting times, so 20 seconds?

meh, technically I suppose I should have put an or between the two elites, but I'm lazy.
As long as you wait for the glyph to recharge it's 21 seconds (glyph cast time).
Another option if he wants to keep away from Fire, could be an Sandstorm build or perhaps Invoke Lightning or something. Actually Echo/Invoke Lightning sounds like fun. Costs less & no exhaustion (air attunement would make it cost 6 and remove the exhaustion), less damage, I think (not sure how much of a bonus the 25% armour penetration would give), faster recharge, faster cast time, can't be double-echoed, still has multi-target capability, won't cause mobs to scatter, due to repeated AoE.

Glyph is waste of the elite on the skill imo,
Plus , how you Glyph + Sac + MS? , If you don't use Sac , you will get easily interrupted 5 secs casting time.
Believe me, it work great down there in DoA , it's just so slow process, waiting for Meteo Shower to recharge lol

Just checking, but if you put 13 in Energy storage wouldn't that be 3 in prot? I know kind of pointless.

Rebirth has the same stats for 2 or 3 prot. If llsektorll had put 3 prot, someone would have pointed that out, you can't win :P

In DoA, I prefer Elementalist / Assassin. I use Assassin's Promise as my elite. It returns 15 energy and recharges ALL of my skills. Energy management take a while to get used to, I recommend bringing glyph of lesser energy and Fire attunement initially, until you get the timing of you skills down. The key is to kill your target quickly, first through AoE damage like MS, then spike him hard and fast for AP to work. If you fail to kill in X seconds, you could be waiting 40-60 seconds for a recharge. Very susceptible to interrupts, so be warned.

Except then you don't have Searing Flames.. and a lot less damage, making it pointless. Searing flames in a group is the whole reason to bring an ele.

Let me clear one thing for you guys.
Meteor Shower in DoA is not used for damage. It is used to Interupt.
And a Tip... Kindly, do not ever bother with Arcane Echo in DoA.

but really i agree with MS isnt for damage its to disrupt casting from the group as a whole while SF is the main damage in the team.

The glyph of sacrifice is absolutely necessary, as is MS for certain situations, but SF is the elite u should be running.
