I don't use tactics, I use my secondary.
If for some reason I have all warrior skills, sometimes I will spec 13 strength. In that case, the Sentinel set is clearly superior to the Dreadnought set.
Most people buy it cause they missed the short bus to school in the morning. Some people know when to use it.
10g for you if you know who I quoted.

depends on build. lions comfort removes the need for healsig (yeah it heals for less, BUT no -40al )
strength may not have a amasing effect, but tatics has none, other than making people go zomg tatics rule and your a n00b if you think otherwise!!
WY will give you (and everyone else ~22al with 13 on tatics), u have half that already with sentinals (ele/physical split)
13 strength
16weapon
4tatics
lions comfort heals for 93hp~
healsig 137 (but double damage)
on a defensive build tatics is better, on a offensive build, strength is.
if there was sentinal spec armour, but for tatics everyone would rave over it...

God, no. Trading in 40 life for 20 armor against elementalists...
The cost at the trader says everything - the majority of the playerbase already "raves" over Sentinel's more than every other armor type. (or has that changed?)
I can see it maybe meaning something against the Ritualist Teams in HA... maybe.

uh...? when have you or any other person seen or used this on a war? I like my glads/ dragon mix though- it gives energy and some armour vs elemental, plus it looks good.

Agreed that if you had, for some reason, 13 Strength, there would be no problem with Sentinel's.
I rarely run a Warrior with 13 Strength though.

lol
But even with no points in tactics, gladiator's/radiant is better.

funny how the same people who say warriors should not use any energy requiring skills say that radiant is the best armour

I prefer to wear ascalon chest+legs, glads boots, and stonefist gauntlets. The 100 armor at the cost of 13 str is just too much... tactics is my buddy

Who says that? Warrior energy skills are too good to be passed up... Especially since some warrior skills cost 5 energy and basically the same thing as a 10 energy skill from some other profession. Not to mention that there are a lot of energy-powered skills from other professions that are very suitable for a warrior to use.
Now if you are talking about attack skills, it's a completely different thing...

With sentinals you can stand in a firestorm and not have to move...
On the other hand, in pve I usually wear berzerkers (the +hp one, think they call it survivalists or something now) and I can't think of a time where I didn't wear glads for pvp. Might pull out my platemail for all ele mobs like the titan quests but I've found +hp armour is plenty good for pve.
