domain of secret lightbringer farm build for monk
for everyone who wanna farm some lightbringer point
the build basic is a very strong energy giver enchant : Scribe's Insight
it gives 3 energy after u use a signet , its very useful when ur spells need 140% energy to cast ... (environment effect of d. of secret)
guess , u know now , what to do
attribs:
healing:12+1+1
divine f:12
the skills:
-Scribe's Insight
-Signet of Devotion
-Signet of Rejuvenation
-xxxxx (i request one more signet for energy for example :Signet of Malice 1/4 cast time is very nice , and dont forget the 5 sec recharge !! an energy mine :P)
-rezz
-heal other
-heal party
-orison of healing
ull never run out from energy thanks to Scribe's Insight + signets combo
start from the gate of secrets and exit to the domain of secrets get the
blessing and lets rock
250 lb in 15 min i think
btw , i use 2 sf hero and meloni (with balthazar) , 2 healer hench , fighter and holy hench (or u can change holy for something cos he likes to die)
enjoy

...enough reasons to not use it if you rely on 2 hench healers+let the derv die constantly.
meh made that build ages ago, was fun, boring tho. lacked of power.

most of us think the mobs are stupid , but sometimes they can do an incredible spike , and thanks to 70 armor ....erhm.... a dervish is a soft target
lacked of power?what about the maxed heal+divine favor ? just do a heal other .. a mini infuse .Its mainly a "support healer" , and u know , henchs always heal the lowest health ally . Your job is to heal the ~90%health targets.

scribe's is a divine favor monk skill , only the signet of malice the assasin skill
other hints:
-there are about 1-3 chest in a run (margonite)
-first kill the monk --->ele--->whammo--->dervish--->necro
-for more dmg u can drop heal party for lighbringer's gaze , and orison for jamei's gaze
-if u bring gaze , u can interupt ele's invoke lighting
-activate ur lighbringer title for dmg reducation

It's nice to see people trying to use some less-used elites like Scribe's, but for Domain of Secrets I still prefer Healer's Boon, Glyph of Lesser Energy, Heal Party combo with Signet of Devotion and Signet of Rejuvenation. It's hard to tell really if your build is effective if you're having to use three monks anyhow. In situations like that, most monk builds would probably be reasonably workable with two healers backing you up.
But it does look like the build lacks some power. You can hardly use Heal Party a lot (without Glyph) with it being a 21 energy cast in DoS, and Heal Other is still a 14 point heal. You'd want to use the signets as often as you can for energy but they're still rather small heals considering the amount of damage some of those creatures can deal - such as with Invoke Lightning.
If you're set on running a build like that, though, you could try Remedy Signet instead of Signet of Malice. More guaranteed condition removal and a slightly better recharge.

While I give kudos for trying to make something of such a crappy monk elite, I think you would be much better off using Light of Deliverance as your elite and dropping heal party. Throw a BiP on a hero, bring a motivation paragon or bring Eve. I think you'll find that the runs go faster and if you're smart, you should be able to survive without any problems. Bringing a Power Drain or Leech Signet yourself is also a good way to keep your energy up and interrupt the bad guys casting spells.

Lafayette: hmmmm , my problem with hb+heal party+gole is the short duration , gole , 2 heal party ... and end . After that come the "crappy" heals , i think ull run out much quicker from the energy than me (i nearly never run out from it) . Hmmm , remedy signet is a good idea , but it has 1 sec cast time , and i like the quick energy gaining , but still a nice signet
vapor311: BiP is an elit , and it just slows down the run (sf > Bip in dmg )
Paragon isnt a big dmg dealer . I think lightbringer's gaze better for interupt , 'cos this build not realy need energy and more dmg always good

I've had great success farming LB points in the Domain of Secrets with my monk using a Mo/Me smiting build (sig/judgement, bane sig, banish, spear of light, smite hex, balth's aura, mantra/inscriptions, LB gaze). I brought 2 SF ele heroes, a mm hero, Devona, Gehraz, Mhenlo, and Kihm. I avoided the titans, but otherwise could easily clear the map.
If you find yourself not using balth's aura much (which you probably won't, but it's handy at times) you can bring mantra of signets instead. Happy farming.
