UW Solo - Which Most Efficient?
Hey guys
ive been solo echotrapping UW for a while now and its pretty good. It seems pretty slow so ive been looking for a more efficient build to solo UW with. So far from my searching i have found the W/Rt build, R/mes famine and 55monk solo. But from what i have read there is no definitive response as to which is most efficient. Could you guys shed some light on this for me
thanks alot

You forgot some solo builds: Me/Mo, E/Me, Rt/Me
But if you only do the smites run, I would say the Rt/Me, W/Rt or E/Me build. I do not have a RT, it's the faster build of W/Rt build. But I think the E/Me build is the fastest... I hear ppl say they do a run in about 15-20 min. Havn't tried yet..thou
Hopefully you can do something with this info.

You should try n/mo with spoil victor, altough the smite part take a little bit longer than other builds.Coldfires dying very fast as well as the aataxs.

Gotta disagree here. I have a War/Rit and Elem/Mesmer and have farmed extensively with both. VWK is more reliable in the entry chamber but doesn't kill fast once you get to the smites... typical fights with one smite group can take anywhere from 30 seconds to several minutes. If you grab more than 4+ smites, kill time gets dramatically longer due to the AI hit/run combat rotation. The Gladiator's Defense version gets similar AI scatter.
For elem/mesmers using the sandstorm build, the entry chamber is slightly more difficult to break through, but once they get to the smites, they can kill any group size in under 7 seconds flat, whether 1 smite or 21+. No VWK/GD build is capable of killing smites this fast due to current AI-retreat behavior. EDIT: Even if stragglers survive the initial sandstorm combo, elems can djinn's haste away to reset the AI, then return a few seconds later to reapply the kill combo.

They're talking about going rt/w with splinter weapon and cyclone axe. Atleast I'd assume.

That makes more sense. What's the total kill time per pull? EDIT: nvm, found the thread

I've been using the E/Me build and I'd say its one of the best
Its very fast and I rarely wait for a recharge. . .
I've tried E/Rt, W/Rt, Ranger solo trap, and a few different duals

Personally I like the Rt/W channeling build, it takes a little while getting used to, but after doing it for a while you should have about a 90% chance of completing the run and you kill a group of smites in only 3 seconds, I don't think anything can beat that.

I prefer the D/Me solo build for smites and chaos planes
TY so much Moone for this amazing build
here is a link to the video i made of a smites run:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4v3bIfevlw
(took me 18 min. for 1 full smite run)
for choas planes and bone pits it's a different build btw.
