Great need of energy armor?
ok well, i mostly do pve on my warrior with the occasional pvp, and i have energy armor on atm, but i was thinking that health would be a much better fit especially since i use mostly adrenal based attacks.
So what is the point of the plus 8 energy?

It helps if you have more energy skills, but if you're all adren based then it doesn't really matter...

The +8 energy can be a huge help. As holymasamune said, if you're using more energy skills it can help a lot - for example, a warrior who wants to work with spellcraft from their secondary profession (I started working on a warrior recently who uses shadow arts spells from his assassin secondary for the majority of healing and defence - the extra 8 energy has proven to be extremely useful with the builds I'm running).

its for swords warrior..the key thing here is that its completly pve with balths spirit, mending and healing breeze..my optional skill is usually a hex remover.
the point is when it comes down to it..it doesnt matter for pve

I use 15k glad's on one of my warrs 'cuz it looks good.
Seriously, +energy armour is a good choice for... SHOCK HORROR! energy intensive warrior builds. I'm not talking mending/heal breeze warriors (you'd simple be better off using heal sig for no energy) but builds like ShockAxe are pretty energy intensive, and need to be able to deal with exhaustion.
Actually, few builds come to mind that need the +energy sets... ShockAxe, or any other /Ele build utilizing ele skills for Snares/Disruption (IIRC, the current Grasping Earth's cute and spammable... combined with upkeep on frenzy and other energy skills I'm sure you might need more than 20 energy on occasion).
Other than that though... +hp is generally of more use, if you don't need the energy then why bother having it?

its pretty nice on warrior/sin for shadow prison or iron palm which are pretty popluar (mabay not so much for pve) but the + energy really makes it useable.

Mending makes me invincible. I can rush into a horde of Bladed Aatxe and laugh as their mighty bleeding is reduced to 2 pips of degen

+hp armor is kind of useless if you are only going to play PvE. In PvE situations, if you die, you would die anyway. +energy is more useful.

i still use mending, it is rather good in certain builds. i certainly find it a lot better than strength of honor (if u are maintaining it urself i mean)
ppl saying "omfg nub stop using it", well... ;P

before this turns into a thread for proving why mending is useless....
The energy from the armor lets you apply alot more pressure on your target because you can use energy-dependant skills while your adrenaline builds up. It is often better to be able to take down your target than to live a few seconds longer with damage reduction. But of course it depends on your build and your role in the team.
