How is life transfer bad? I remember reading somewhere that each pip of life or energy is worth 2 points every second so 8 pips of degen on the enemy and 8 pips of life regen for you over 12 seconds is 192 damage to an enemy and heals you for 192 life.

Spoil Victor is 105 life lost per spell / attack, albeit conditional it will pump out a lot more damage than life transfer and only has a 10 second recharge.

Life transfer does 192 damage which you have to wait 12 seconds for and has a 30 second recharge.

Here is my Blood Necro Build:

16 Blood Magic
13 Soul Reaping
3 Domination Magic

Reaper's Mark
Awaken the Blood
Lifebane Strike
Jaundiced Gaze
Vampiric Gaze
Strip Enchantment
Plague Touch
Hex Breaker

I think it is rather self explanatory.

It does great damage and has some nice self healing abilities as well.

I was able to beat Nightfall quite easily running mainly this build. It is fun and easy.

Try it out for yourself, most monsters in the higher areas have more health than you so it'll be fairly effective.

I'm going to go cap spoil victor and try it out, would seem to work good except for the part about having to do an action towards someone with less health they have. If your stealing 100 health their health will get lower than it's targets really fast.

It's just considered bad from a lot of people's perspective because there are other elites out there that can do more damage and take out enemy or enemy groups faster.

Personally I think if you like using it then keep using it. I'd often times rather play with people that run non-standard builds. If you play with people that do the same ol' stuff all the time then it sort of feels like your in a rut and the game starts to get a little boring.

And as far as Spoil Victor goes it really seems like a pretty conditional hex. It will only do that damage if your target attacks or casts a spell on a foe that has less health. Unfortunately, I don't have Factions to use this skill, but without having used it, the skill sounds a bit too conditional for my taste???

Because of the recharge time of [skill]Life transfer[/skill] you could take out the skill [skill]Power Spike[/skill] and replace it with the skill [skill]Arcane Echo[/skill] so you can use [skill]Life Transfer[/skill] when the first one runs out

the rest I kinda like

SV is amazing in PvE, at least from my experiences, From using it myself i find that it reduces high level creatures health to about half before its not effective anymore (with my health at 455, and i think the monsters were around 24) which once theyre at half health they will die quickly so its a great skill imo.

maybe if it's not to hot in battle, you can swap between armor when out of agroe (and casted SV), so they drop even more HP That's what I sometimes do.

In pve, many enemies (especially later in the game) have more health than normal making it pretty effective.
