Default UW Solo --

After reading the Warrior + Hero solo, I was completely inspired and have yet to try it. But this is just a query, would it be possible to solo the UW with a 55 monk and Olias/Master of Whispers? Where you can manually use the skills. It may be more difficult, but may still pay off. This is just a thought. Any comments appreciated.

From what I've heard is that enemies automatically change targets to the damage dealers. So.. if you can control Olias to put him in the "safe zones" they yes it should be possible, however it may be difficult.

Aataxes can easily be body blocked, but Graspings may prove difficult as Olias won't be smart enough to run away.

also it may just be more profitable to just do duo runs cause you will only have to pay for 500g and a human would be better than olias because like Marverick said they will know when to run away and other stuff. but if you can't find anyone else to go with you then this seems to be a good alternative

Famine would work better cause the rangers they wouldn't have to go into the aggro at all... unless u rlly wanted them to...

Olias doesnt have to run. Just manually Echo SS on 2 of the grasps that attack him and they will die too fast to kill him. If only one Grasp attacks him, even better! I have never used a hero necro, as I dont have a monk, but while I play as the human SS, I never have troubles with grasps. I can take them without the monk because they are so weak and dont have enough time to kill me.

were not only talking about graspings here, vs the cows i bet they kill you first before you kill them with a ss-necromancer.

back on topic, i suggest doing dual runs with heroes as smiter/bonder duo or 55hp/famine

The cows can be easily body-blocked, and that was already stated. They were saying that the grasps were hard because Olias wouldn't be smart enough to run. I was saying that the grasps dont have to be outrun. He WAS only talking about the grasps in that situation.

If you go with a human you can 50/50 (unless you pug it with someone that doesn't share). If you go with a hero you get your drops and it is guaranteed that the hero wont 50/50 with you. Better to go with a friend/guildie than let the stupid hero get all the ecto.
