Modify my PvE build.
I have put together a PvE assassin build (just went thru Gate Of Pain with it), but I'm feeling that it's lacking something. Anyway, here it is:
[skill]Parasitic Bond[/skill][skill]Aura Of Displacement[/skill][skill]Black Lotus Strike[/skill][skill]Twisting Fangs[/skill][skill]Black Spider Strike[/skill][skill]Blades Of Steel[/skill][skill]Shadow Refuge[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
Attributes:
8 curse
15 dagger
9 shadow
9 crit
Armor: Full Shrouded for energy
Runes: Superior Dagger Mastery and a Dagger Mastery mask, Minor Critical Strikes.
Daggers: Zealous, 15^50, +30 or Vampiric, 15^50, +30 (Ceremonial [green] or Shiro's Blades will work nicely)
Useage: Find an enemy (be sure to coordinate with your team mates on this), and dump Parasitic Bond on them. Then use AoD to shadow step to them, and use Lotus, Twisting, Spider, and Steel on them as quickly as possible. When the foe is dead, cast Shadow Refuge and stop maintaining AoD.
Thoughts?

Meh, I don't like AoD at all. Moebius Strike fits your build better imo.
Oh, and I hate the shadow line, I take a prot monk with me, much better survivability (sp ?)
I play this build :
Parasitic bound
Dash
Black Lotus
TF or Horn of the Hox
Black Spider
Critical strike (leet e-management with the recent buff)
Moebius strike
Rez
Attributes :
Daggers : 12+1+2
Critical strikes : 11+2
Curse : what's left, not much

why so high curses? seriously, get more crit strikes rather than curses. :I 2/4 attacks with deal more damage.
AOD? just get moebius strike, take dash and your done. just dont leeroy teleport too much.

You could try Assassin's Promise instead of AoD. You'd be able to get your deadly arts higher than your curses anyways and it will help with the recharge on black lotus/black spider strike. The downside is that it doesn't work well against bosses unless you have a backup hex because of its recharge.
Shadow Prison could also work here since it would combine the hexing and teleportation, freeing up a skill slot for you.

Well, I normally use Mobius (ftw), but in the Realm Of Torment missions, I can rarely stay in a mob for more than 3 seconds, due to the fact that the monk ignores me and I get smacked by Mind Freeze and such. In which case, I can just stop maintaining AoD and fly back to my monks. The curses is so high so that I can get a decent heal out of Parasitic Bond to complement my Shadow Refuge.

I'm posting this build everywhere till I get shot through my computer screen. It is just that good.
[skill]Assassin's Promise[/skill][skill]Dark Prison[/skill][skill]Burst of Aggression[/skill][skill]Black Lotus Strike[/skill][skill]Twisting Fangs[/skill][skill]Black Spider Strike[/skill][skill]Blades of Steel[/skill][skill]Feigned Neutrality[/skill]
People say Assassin's promise sucks if you fail to kill your target, but yea it doesn't fail too easily. Unless you go around trying to take on a level 28 tank by yourself that is... Pick targets wisely and you'll feel like you have machine gun chainsaws instead of daggers. I do FoW, Sorrows furnace, and pretty much every hard mission/quest outside of DoA with this.

No rez Samurai. Every PvE group gets wiped at one point or another, and it's just frustrating to not have a rez. But your build does work nicely ^^

I never need a rez as an assassin. IF the party gets wiped(mine never has since I started using my set of heros) I certainly won't be the last alive. Unless I see it coming and run away in advance. But in that case the party runs too... All 3 of my heros have a disabled rebirth just in case though, so I'm good.

you probably needed a protection monk that can reduce the damge you take?
i can handle the place fine with only henches and heros unless got surrounded by more than one group of those pain in the butt spell casting torment creatures !@^%$#
I usualy equip the light bringer skill and title when i am there the skill deals dmg and inturrupts the enemy as well and the title reduces the dmg i take. I also take my assassin hero with the inturrupt build to counter those casters the others dont really worry me its the spell casters and you really need a ritulist with you too they are very useful in the place.
But since that Rt hero is hard to get make a monk or ele with high energy your Rt with restor as its primary it may not be as good but its still better than having none
for your build I think your tring to deal as much dmg as possible which i wouldnt do there since running would be better than fight to the death and getting lots of DP
for me i use
attributes:10 Dagger Mastery, 11+1 Critical Strikes, 10+1+3 Shadow Arts,
jagged strike, wild strike, critical strike, way of the assassin ,critical defence ,critical eye , way of perfection or shadow refuge, dark escape or death retreat.
or replace way of perfection or shadow refuge with the light bringer skill
this is the build i work around I try to take less dmg from the meele attackers so i wont get killed soo easily by the casters

Why Way of the Assassin and Critical Eye if you have Critical Strike though? They are just wasted in place of more offense or healing.

:P well critical defence never last long enough for me even thou its 9 seconds i try to boost the chances for critical striking during normal attacks so i can have the defence up through the battle and way of perfection requires critical to work as well if i can heal small amounts of health my self chances are i'll survive. and critical eye is to get that bonus energy gain.
well for me it works and i change it to suit my need ^^
what do you think I should change?

Everyone knows the best pve builds for sins should have either
Shadow meld
Sins promise
AoD
Locust fury (for buffer teams in which your base damage is nice)
Moebuis strike
Everything else is a stickler.
Anyways Shadow meld is always the best survivalbility In the sin line elites in my opinion.

Shadow Meld is great for survivability. Even in the PvP arenas you can cast it on an ally at the start, then when you get in trouble stop maintaining it and return the the start of the map. In PvE its great for getting out of battle when you need to, and then jumping back in when your ready.

Here's a build I've been messing around with:
Siphon Speed
Black Spider Strike
Death Blossom
Moebius Strike [e]
Horns of the Ox
Restful Breeze
Mending Touch
Rebirth/Rez Sig/Dash
Its been posted elsewhere I believe, or variants of it. Basically you stick whoever with SS, BSS them, then choose DB or HoTO depending on proximity to other targets or threat level.
Then just keep Moebius-Dual until the target is dead. If SS or BSS get interrupted and/or their recharge lengthened, auto attack or retreat and regroup.
Mending Touch allows a nice conditional heal and two conditions removed. Restful Breeze is a superior heal in most cases, since its +10 regen for I think 9 seconds (8 sec recharge) at 7 or 8 Healing Prayers. Mending Touch gets any leftover points. Rebirth is a great rez for this character, since if played intelligently, kiting when necessary, and having good situational awareness, you'll end up being the last to die, and a teleporting rez is worth the energy cost.
With zealous daggers, and the fact that no skill on the bar costs more than 5 energy, I'm pretty comfortable with no other e-management except for CS at 8 or 9, and I put DM at 16.
The build has no Deep Wound, and is not a condition hog as many sins are, but the amount of raw damage you can output with 16 DM, max daggers, and continuous Moebius-DB spam is rediculous. Taking my sin through Tyria, and he just tore up Elona and Thirsty with hero/hench, getting the bonuses with ease.
Even with no IAS, this build clearcuts enemies like chaff, and if you have competent monks in your party, you can be even more aggressive, such as using Disrupting Dagger, Expose Defenses (one of my personal favorites), or going with a different secondary, such as using Dervish for some nice Earth enchants.
Hope this gives you some ideas.

i like the BoA builds but i think this works a lil better - least it does for me
Zelous +5 Energy Daggers
Vampiric Daggers
A/R
Assassin's Promise
Deaths Charge
Black Lotus Strike
Lightning Reflexes
Twisting Fangs
Black Spider Strike
Blades of Steel
Feigned Neutrality
with Lightning Reflexes you still attack 33% faster for the same amount of time but you have a 75% chance to block also - costs a lil more energy but thats no biggie because u get energy from Black Lotus Strike and you will pretty much have full energy if you kill them fast enough for sin's promise to work.
thats just me though
