Keystone Signet Spike
I just wanted to make a build with the new mesmer update , mostly keystone signet so i thought since signet spike is pretty popular I should pair them up
Type:RA, is all I tested this with
Attributes: 10 inspiration magic, 8+1 shadow arts, 12+3+1 deadly arts
[card]Dancing Daggers[/card][card]Entangling Asp[/card][card]Mantis Touch[/card][card]Blinding Powder[/card][card]Signet of Shadows[/card][card]Signet of Toxic Shock[/card][card]Feigned Neutrality[/card][card]Keystone Signet[/card]
Equipment: dosen't matter really I just put +3 deadly arts rune on the hat and +1 shadow arts on anything else, a rune of major vigor on something else too. A staff of inspiration magic +10 energy, +5 energy over 50%
Alright basically you play the bar in order as a chain, daggers, poison kd, mantis then blind. After that you spike your target with the 2 signets make sure to use the signet of shadows because blind lasts only 10 sec, after that use keystone signet so you can spike the target with the 2 signets again if there not dead . This enables around 400 dmg without healing :O because of armor ignorance. Keystone also helps get a new target to kill because of the signet of shadows nasty 30 sec recharge.
I played this in RA a few times and it worked pretty well taking down spellcasters are easy and warriors are disabled from cripple+blind. I find this build not as spammable as other signet spikes(blinding surge one?) but has really good damage.
The only problem is... sometimes blind dosen't last long enough for 2 signet of shadows so you don't get full dmg , you could alter the shadow arts attribute s to fit you likeing, and has a sortive one time use def spell (theres still blind ) And alas theres no res sig but other than that I think this build is great for ra .
I would love to see if someone else would try this and tell me how they think.

I tried something like this before, and it worked to kill any solo target pretty much, but it had a very long recharge where the build was nearly useless. I prefer Assassin's Promise instead of Keystone signet, and it tends to work very well.

Spike every 30 sec is worse than BoA sins >.>
And the problem with this "spike" is that it takes almost 10 seconds to complete...guess it's pretty good to kill solo targets with no form of healing, condition removal, or support.

Side note: why did you add all those pictures of the skills you used?
Also, RA= res signet required. I sometimes just go in with just res sig. Works fine.

Ugh the pics were an accedent i was trying to get the skill cards up and ended up doing weird things XD. yes the signets tend to be very slow -_-. But I think its a pretty fun build to play with instead of BoA sins (got bored of em). I'm still trying to find more ways with weird elites like keystone too .

I've actually considered using [skill]Amity[/skill] or [skill]Pacifism[/skill] in a degen gimmick build...kill them by not doing damage...

how you can do that? maybe degen...but they can healthemself
maybe if you have mesmer skills
degen, and interrupt when they want heal...but it could only work if there is no monk

If you can get people in an RA team to NOT attack someone while you degen them to death, you are God. That is the only drawback of a pacifism/amity idea, the fact that it would never work.

I tried something similar in RA not long ago.
Dancing daggers, entangling asp, echo, signet of toxic shock, deadly paradox.
It work surprisingly good, but mostly because noone cares to bring condition removal in RA except monks. I had fun with those wammos, maybe I should try this again with signet of shadows too. Never thought of that skill

Even if they do remove the blind with mending touch...theres still cripple and poison, you could still do 200 dmg...XD is that alot? Alot of people use poison in ra now and then anyways . Btw does signet of toxic shock work with disease?
