Default A couple pet questions.

I made a warrior in pre searing, and charmed a blackbear with some help. But I did that without actually becoming /ranger. I figured I would go w/mo but was hoping maybe if I charmed it before it would stay if I ascend later and switch to w/r. Is that true? Or will it just not register as me ever having a pet when I ascend?

Also, do pets level up past their owners? I read guildwiki but it didn't say anything about them not leveling up past their owners.

When you switch over to a W/R later you'll still have the same pet.

A pet *can* level up past its owner i.e a level 7 ranger can have a level 9 pet or whatever, but a pet's level is capped at 20 like an actual player is.

Unless you went to a pet tamer to get rid of it whatever pet you charmed will still be there.

Its sorta irrelevant, pets gain exp at the same rate you do so it will always have a lower level than you unless its capped at 1 higher than you.
