Mes/any Acolyte Farmer
Skills:

Attribute points:
Full domination and inspiration. Runes/headgear of choice
[skill]Signet Of Humility[/skill][skill]Signet Of Midnight[/skill][skill]Spirit of Failure[/skill][skill]Spirit Shackles[/skill][skill]Price of Failure[/skill][skill]Reckless Haste[/skill][skill]Parasitic Bond[/skill][skill]Mantra of Inscriptions[/skill]
Attribute points:
Full curses and inspiration. Runes/headgear of choice
Getting to the acolytes:
Use henchmen and kill anyone in your way.
Fighting the acolytes:
Activate mantra of inscriptions, cast signet of humility on the boss before they can activate their form (Only a problem on Dwayna and Melandru), Activate signet of midnight and begin going through your spells. Use ether feast as healing or to activate mind wrack when needed.
Example run of acolyte of Dwayna follows.
The run:
Follow the path south from Kodonur crossroads. (Preferred way for me) Can kill warrior boss along the way.
Once you reach the fortress kill off the patrols guarding the two entrance bosses and after flagging the henchmen to the side, pull the two bosses at the entrance out one at a time or if you're unlucky... deal with them both at the same time.
Once inside the fortress, Pull the mob away from the boss and let your henchmen deal with them making sure to call targets so the boss is not killed while henchmen are around
Run away after all foes except the boss are dead and give your henchmen something useful to do in their spare time... Nearby group of kusakle if you like.
Run back to the boss, activate mantra of inscriptions, and use your two signets. Begin going through your spells.
Few screens from a lyssa run:
Use the walls to take out bowmen safely... or just jump in the air and look like an idiot.
Clear with henchmen.
You get the point.
Notes:
This was done with a necro primary... you can do it easily enough with a mesmer secondary.
After further testing, You can speed this up greatly by bringing a hero ranger with famine.
Bringing Light of Deliverance or Heal Party on a hero monk is recommended for emergency heals.
These are all hard or semi-hard farms. This isn't a 55 build, you have to work at it.

It seems to take a really really long time to get anoguh damage in. It may just be me not doing it right but I just can't get it to kill the boss without me dying from losing track of which hexes have expired or not. I'm farming Dwayna FYI.

Same here.. Even blinded this boss gets to kill me with his scythe after MANY minutes of trying (unsuccessfully) to get his health below 25%.. I'm using 16 dom and 13 inspiration and I keep him off the elite form all the time.. yet he still heals himself way too much.

The second Dwayna's acolyte gets 5 energy during a fight he'll begin a long chain of self heals that are at best... annoying. Still trying to find an easier way of fighting him, but so far it seems that about 1 out of 3 times he'll have unnatural energy regen and will not go down no matter what. A note on the other acolytes, Grenth: "Chilling Victory"'s secondary damage always triggers, Melandru: Likes to go into her form just after being hit by signet of humility, Balthazar: Seems to have a uncommon hit rate while blinded, Lyssa: Slower self healing than Dwayna.
This build is much faster and somewhat safer. Full curses-inspiration attribute setup.

Hi!
Found a reliable way to solo the Acolyte of Dwayna with a W/Mo... you'll have to clean up with henchies frst, though...
See here for details.
Have fun!

They seem to have a knack for hitting me while blinded... which kills me. but as sson as i get dwayna to 1/4 health she starts spamming off heals even though i have drained her energy.

Don't lie. Warriors are not reliable methods of farming Dwayna.
If you want to farm Avatars stop wasting your damn time soloing the minions.
Rit/Mes is still the fastest way. Only used it vs Dwayna, but if it works vs Dwayna... it will obviously work on the other 4, after all, they're only human

Both Grenth and Balth have Chilling Victory which hits you regardless... makes them much harder to deal with, and necro-posting ftw.

Gah, wish people would stop f*cking doing that. I never look at the damn post date and end up posting in millenia old threads.
Meh, good luck with them hitting me if they're too busy trying to stand up.
