I am doing everything correctly, and I saw the videos many times, so that's not the culprit. When I do Sunreach, Sliver will always target one of the Wallows or the Hammer Wardens. It never targets Sunreach with the exception of 3-5 times when I simply got lucky.

Same, only lucky tries work. Gets frustrating.

This sound familiar actually I have this happen to me , it is actually town dependend with me if I go out of the sanctuary my sliver wont target the bosses if I come from any of th other towns I have no problem. It is stupid but call it superstition or what not but I have tried it several times and it never fails, or better said it always fails also I usueally zone out when it happens as it seems to stick always targetting the wrong enemy when it starts doing that.....
BUT also things like where you are at how close/far other enemies are how you got there etc etc etc etc

I finally got my ele up to doing the quests around desolation to get to ride a wurm. I was wondering if anyone had a list of bosses that are close to some regular towns (not in desolation area) that are semi easy to learn the build to start with.

For those having trouble with Sunreach because of Sliver targeting something else first [or multiple something elses]. If you're using E/A, I have an easy solution for you. Go in, use your skills and try for Sunreach as normal... if you target something else, don't sweat it, just let Sliver kill whoever it wants and chew its way to Sunreach. Yes, this means that you will die... so what? You will rez nearby and with E/A you have enough energy that the DP is meaningless. Just go back in a second time [even a third, if need be] and Sliver will be ready to chew on Sunreach right off.
For those using A/E, you can accomplish much the same thing by using Shadow of Haste [just wait till Sliver kills its way to Sunreach and shadowstep away; when you run back, it will be more likely to target Sunreach right off], there's even a nice little "safe spot" a short distance up the slope you came down to get to Sunreach.
hope this has been of some help.

Did anyone try to farm Tembar Treefall for the Ugly Stick?
Saying that it's hard to get to him is truly an understatement. Not even sure if it's possible. Does anyone know how to farm this boss??

Can you guys tell me your tactics to kill Onslaught of Terror? I alway die by his scythe attacks even with Shadow Form on.

This is taken from gwwiki. I did pull 1 group of margonites nearby to the boss but does not seem to work.

Viet i saw ure comment and i went to farm it. this really doesnt take much and i got the drop first attempt. try to shadow form away from both groups. then transport to him and sliver. take only one offesnive - obsidian flesh and rest running and dark escape. this will help u with his first couple of scythe attacks. hope this helps.

some of the bosses suggested (i.e. exuro flatus) are better done with a +AL build rather than shadow form. Pretty much, if they don't have a way of stripping enchants, use the +AL. You will take 0 damage from all but the most powerful mobs (i.e. aggoring half of torqua).
something like this.
stone daggers
sliver armor
kinetic armor
stoneflesh aura
stonestriker
earth attunement
aura of restoration
mantra of earth
This can take down exuro in 30 seconds. Adding the extra complexity and annoyance of Shadow form is pointless for mobs with not ench removal or powerful hexes/interrupts. Note that this is not my build and, like the OP's build (yes i see the credit given), has been around for months.

Yeah, but Shadow Form isn't all that complex and annoying once you get the hang of it. Only the occasional issues with sliver targeting wrong are, in that case i agree. Exuro goes down in 10 seconds easy with Shadow Form and since the build you posted up there has sliver armor as well i don't really see why would it be better.
Also, people like this build because it can farm a huge number of bosses, and i doubt they're planning to change to a complete another primary profession just to farm a single boss. Especially if it's possible with this one with just a little effort.

Theres 1 simple rule of Sliver Armour/Shadow Form farming.
If it doesn't die, lure more.
Managed to kill me the Ranger Construct once thanks to a massive lure of the 4 groups by the Necromancers Construct.
If it still aint working, its time to use another build and clear it with hench.

Jack,
Thanks for the tips. I went another try before I replied and succeeded with the green dropped right away. But next few tries were hit or miss. 70% failed as Sliver Armor ran out but the boss was still alive. I often could not lure other group(s) to him though. Aggro Margonites, select the boss and Death's charge in and Margonites ingnored me??!
Any tips on which mob is best to lure and how?
