BoS isn't NEARLY as nice as it was. Notice how I said "So Sweet", rather than "It's useless now". Far from it, I still love to finish off chains with the skill, but it's not as cool as it used to be.
Man.. the damage should cap out at 200 ^^

I've even seen Nine tail strike used. (It's actually pretty decent for use the skills, Unblockable FTW!

The nerf on Shadow prison really disapointed me... 10e is too much, now you MUST get black lotus strike on the combos so you can get it off... That doesnt change anything for W/A cuz their atks are adrenaline based...
And about BoS... How hard is it to prot before 4 attack skills hit you?

quite, a hex, a shadowstep, and a snare should be 5e! and its got a 1/4sec activation..

the shadow prison nerf doesnt destroy the boa build however it is damn annoying to wait for 25 energy to pull off the spike. (sp 10 + burst 5 + blacklotus 10)
yesterday i was playing and didnt read about the nerf yet and was used to spiking everytime with 20 energy and im like WTF blacklotus isnt coming out
and i used vamp daggers so shit i might have to go zealous now and thats pretty lame
maybe drop burst altogether and go /mo for mending touch, same damage output just slower BUT yea that can spell the difference between a kill and a failed attempt
what anet should do is put it back to 5 energy and lower the duration scale instead. that way sins and wars need enough deadly points for both black offhands or axe skills to hit
the bos nerf is gay, seeing double 103s pop out was so friggin cool, now its just double 98s -_- heck, they should put it back to 80

Yea Y'know serpico is right...Anets too tied up rebuilding//updating the game they dont actually play it to see the long-term effects.
As for SP well i nvr use it..BoA i use constantly but i was most frustrated when stances were (SKill balanced) pft. How about Customer upset? Thats better.

Shadow Prison needed a nerf. It was overpowered for sure. 10 energy made it more balanced but it didn't kill the skill.
I can still pull off a combo, but I may have to change my tactics slightly if I get DP in GvG. The nerf just requires you to do more thinking than just mashing buttons all the time.
Very good balance IMO, as is for BoS.

Hmm.. I can still run a BoA prison sin without a problem. I just have to actually pay attention instead of hitting 6 buttons with ease. It surely cut the numbers of BoA asssassins down, since crappy players dont understand that you must wait for the energy to recharge before hitting the buttons. Unfortunately this is a difficult concept to grasp.
I wasnt too happy with BoS but hey.. i can live with it.

I totally nixed Shadow Prison and Blades of Steel when I tried the BoA build. Instead I do this:
[skill]Siphon Speed[/skill][skill]Burst of Aggression[/skill][skill]Black Spider Strike[/skill][skill]Twisting Fangs[/skill][skill]Moebius Strike[/skill][skill]Death Blossom[/skill][skill]Black Lotus Strike[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
Of course I gotta use Moebius :P It's like..the only elite skill (other than Temple Strike) that I actually use a lot XD But the whole combo really works well and I don't have as much energy problems. I run with 37 energy though :3 but still I use BLS with every other chain. Siphon Speed is a decent snare, and since it's half distance you'll be close enough to them. Even if they start to run after you started casting, it'll still work. It also really pressures them AND can be a spike at the same time
And yeah, it's pretty much the Repeating Moebius and the BoA sin builds mixed together lol.

And I just looked back on page 2 and saw Master Ketsu (or someone like that) post something similar to what I did XD;; oops...oh well *doesn't use self heal even though she should*

Correct me if I'm wrong, but according to GuildWars.com, the interaction between Deadly Paradox and Assassin Stances was a bug?
Since the description states "skill" and it works with every skill (including hexes, enchants, skills, and spells) shouldn't that include stances as well? It specifically states that it disables all attack skills, obviously Leads, Off hands and Duals, but every other skill including stances should be fair game?
I guess the main reason I liked it the old way was because you could DP/Dark Escape, was great for running. Ah well, too bad.
