For UW farming

[skill]Spiteful Spirit[/skill][skill]Reckless Haste[/skill][skill]Defile Enchantments[/skill][skill]Suffering[/skill][skill]Ancestor's Visage[/skill][skill]Sympathetic Visage[/skill][skill]Arcane Echo[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]

Sometimes the monk tanks will bring their own visages so you can replace yours with things such as [skill]Blood Ritual[/skill][skill]Desecrate Enchantments[/skill]

For anything not UW, drop visages and bring any hexes in the curses line, blood rit for monks is nice too.

Besides Suffering, that's the UW build I run. For normal PVE play, I like to make it more shutdown, so (and I don't know how to do the picture thing) I run this.

Arcane Echo
SS (E)
Reckless Haste
Enfeebling Blood
Desecrate Enchant
Blood Ritual
Optional (depending on what you are doing, but I usually bring Shivers)
Sunspear Rebirth Sig (at Castellan, far superior than normal Sig)

So really, the only thing I've changed from ZenRgy is the use of Enfeebling Blood (which is even better since the recent buff of Weakness)

why does everyone like reckless haste for uw, 55 need to get hit to get engery, i hate people who bring reckless, id much rather they bring insidious to heal themself when one of the squids change agro

For normal PVE I usually run SS, Mark of Pain, Insidous Parasite, Weakness, Reckless Haste, Defile Enchantments, Arcane Echo, Rez or Capture. Mark of Pain is a great PVE skill in the right circumstances, especially if there is a MM in your group. Sometimes I will echo SS and sometimes mark of pain depending on the circumstances. With 10 minions, an echoed mark of pain sometimes does more damage than an echoed SS.

does any1 know why the smites run away when i cast ss on them? i cast sv and then ss on them and they scatter. was there an update?

The update that changed the AI happend months ago. There have been threads complaining about the change and how it affects SS and SV.

In truth, SS doesn't truly affect AI much. Its still good.

I have many variations with my SS, so I won't bother with listing them out (too many). I don't use Arcane Echo or mark of pain. I do use Soul Barbs though. I use Curse+Domination or Curse+Blood or Curse+Death or Curse+Illusion or Curse+Inspiration.

I suggest you play with SS and see what combos you can come up with. I tend to use SS + Enfeebling Blood + Insidious Parasite/Parasitic Bond and sometimes oppresive gaze, Wastrel's Worry, Empathy, etc.
