Default Aggressive pets

My monk heroes, Dunkoro as healer and Tahlkora as protector - received pets, death-leveled to level ~12 to become aggressive. After this the pets were simply taken along for the ride, with only Charm and CoP on the monk's bars and ~10 in BM.

Although I've seen it claimed that they rarely stay aggressive - I opted for elder or dire - they've remained Aggressive. Both of them.

I am curious if anyone has similar, or other experiences with hero-pets and/or the Aggressive evolution.

I got it to on my own char, an ele. when helping zetuka from the lions I charmed a hostile aggresive lion, but afterwards it stayed aggresive past lvl 15 until 20.

I had the same experience with Jin's and Margrid's lions, after carefully managing them to be Dire. As I'd never had an aggressive level 20 pet on my any of my characters, (all are either Hearty or Dire), I assumed hero pets leveled differently. Now, I'm wonder if hasn't something to with that pride of level 15 Aggressive lions outside the Command Post.

Needless to say, both pets are good fun. I hadn't thought about equipping absolutely every hero with a pet, though. That also sounds like it could be good fun.
