Again, well said. In another vain, I read that GW 2 will be set 300 years in the future which leads to speculation about the possibility of fire arms which in turn leads me to imagine games highly informed by historical Renaissance Europe and late medieval Japan. Rich inspiration indeed; nevertheless, in such circumstances, I would greatly miss the role archery has played in GW 1. All speculation, of course; no reason to start a thread entitled "Save us from Tom Clancy's Guild Wars 2."

"Rangers lead the way."

See that's along my line of thinking as well. I've imagined a sort of psuedo-future world kind of like something you'd see in a Final Fantasy game. Mixing classic role-playing elements with science fiction. I'm pretty sure that there will be a character that will closely resemble the Ranger of GW1, but the setting has opened up any number of possibilites for new classes. Regardless, I'm sure we'll still end up posting in the same sub-forum of GW2.

I honestly would be a bit dissapointed if guns came to GW in replacement of bows. This is part of the reason I never got into WoW and also why I am weary of dissapointment by Fable 2.

They will probably not replace bows, either they will add a new class(not that i want it) or they will be "elite bows". By the way, when will we get crossbows.

Back on topic, was I the only one that had a problem with everyonoe havign elites/greens in faction&Nightfall. I can't wait to get another slow ride like prophecy. Hope they won'T power-levle us!
