Default TOA MM help

I was in TOA with 5 man B/p teamn and everything was going alright, we were up to the second level and suddenly some stupid annoying mesmer decides its funny to put 3 hexes on me including backfire. Thsi was durign the crucial point of the fight when my part needed me to spam minions spells, but I was unable to without killing myself, so we ended up dieing.

I decided the problem was we needed more experience working as a team so we tried it and this time luckily none of their mesmers were out for a laugh, so we got up to the beginning of the fourth level and what happens a mesmer put backfire + 2 of ther hexes on me durign the crucial part of the battle and we die.

Anyone know what an MM can do to counter these hexes? It would be greatly appreciated if soemone could come up with a counter for this.

you should recognize hexes well and can just wait. usually most heavy hexes have short duration cause game-balance. Just remember how your most anticipated hexes looks and know duration and effect =) imo this is most effective counter and this is slot-free =)

For N/Mo: Smite Hex and Empathic Removal {E} dont require any investment in attribute points. That's what I use when I am forced to bring hex removal myself.
