my new, um... instant damage build!
kinda got it when i messed around with my old build too much. from what i've seen,i could take a elementalist down to 1/8 of his health back.too bad it's not that effective against warriors.
!!!!instant damage, then zoom out!!!
so here it is:
points:
dagger mastery:15
critical strikes:16
weapons:
preferably damage +15% while enchanted.
or something like ceremonial daggers, or dagger that's got energy +5
armor:
preferably all shrouded
skills: ( mostly in order)
mark of instability
black lotus strike
twisting fangs
golden phoenix strike
nine tail strike
aura of displacement
dash
and one any other thing to fit in the combo to make it better, like falling spider or something.(i had charm animal because i wanted a white tiger)
so you use mark of instability, then aura of displacement, and then use black lotus strke. you would have very few mana left, but the effect of black lotus strike would give you back lots of mana for other things. then you continue on the combo and maybe hopefully add in the one other black skill, and once you're done, you teleport back because it takes a long time to recharge them!
any suggestions will be appreciated.

I was thinking at least Shadow Refuge might be nice, a lack of shadow arts isn't too good, imo. Most of the assassin builds use falling spider/horns of the ox, which is one of the reasons why assassins can take down casters fairly easy. Maybe if you could add that somewhere, or somehow that'd be niec

well, the hex will knock him down, and by the second dual strike, he'll probably be dead.

Drop GPS for Falling Spider, and Nine Tail for Blades of Steel. BoS will do more then NT but will not have the bonus if going through defenses. I would also drop dash for a heal, and throw in rez sig.

Uh, yes, but it's made for alliance battle, so you have to have something that gives you a fast boost. otherwise, falling spider fits and blades of steel fits very well, since they cost less energy to use. But that makes the build only for one on one, and golden phoenix strike have the ablity to attack someone else if they got killed too fast

For Alliance battles, I find that AoD isn't that useful. The map is so big that the teleport doesn't help that much. I much rather bring Assassin's Promise because with falling spider and BoS, my target will be a hit or two from death without heals. Perfect to use AP and be reset for a new target at full energy. Or you could even go with Shroud of Silence and slaughter any monk. Dark Escape is wonderful for AB, I also like bringing Shadow of haste for speed + teleport.

BUT, I don't have shadow or deadly arts. And then if we replace AoD with something else like you said, then it wouldn't be an enchatment anymore, and then I can't use Golden phoenix strike anymore.
What I need is a spell that lets me not get into a condition or hex, then I'd be half invincible when fighting one person.

MoI.
Black Lotus Strike.
Twisted Fangs.
Falling Spider.
Horns of the Ox.
Moebius Strike.
Death's Charge.
Serpeant's Quickness. (If Moebius Stike doesn't hit becuase things are usually dead before it does this bring your Black Lotus Strike down to a 19-20 second reuse so it will be up with MoI next use.)

in order of use try this:
WoP-WoTL-GlS-GPS-BLS-CS
WoP heals you 27 health each crit and CS promises minimum of 2, its also a 27 sec enchant
WoTL is a hex that allows you every dual attack to heal 8 energy, also lets you use BLS

Wouldn't work well in Fort Aspenwood where you need self heal, but if you have a good monk, yes this is a great build.

How do you get so many critical hits? I know I don't get any.
