Default Invincible Necromancer...of sorts.

[skippable text] So I'm fighting through the Maguuma Jungle, aye? At level fourteen (though I promptly level to fifteen), which makes it kind of tricky. Trying to complete 'The Price of Steel', I follow the Scouts, slay the Knights, and huzzah-and-hurrah, I get the ruined armor I need to drop. Before I can pick it up, though, me and my henchies are overcome by Moss Scarabs.
This angered me, and it took me fifteen minutes to hack through the centaur patrols to get to my quest items. When I finally managed to sweep them into my inventory, I'd already acquired 40% death penalty.
So I says to myself, "Self, you need better armor."
Off I map to Beetletun to by myself some better armor. But horrors, I can't afford it!
So I says to myself (again), "Self, you need money."
Well, of course, a 55 Monk springs to mind. But I don't have one! D:
What I -do- have is a Necromancer/Monk. But he isn't level 20. I can't 55 with a Necromancer/Monk that isn't level 20. >_> So how do I make money?
Ignore his level and do it anyway. My Guild Leader said this wouldn't work, and we made a bet....[/skippable text]

N/Mo, level 15

Attributes-
Death Magic: 6 + 1 + 4 = 10
Soul Reaping: 0 + 3
Healing Prayers: 8
Protection Prayers: 8

Skills-
Protective Spirit
Healing Breeze
Vile Touch
Necrotic Traversal
Rotting Flesh
Essence Bond
Balthazar's Spirit
Mending

Equipment-

Vile Scar Pattern + Superior Death Magic Rune (Justified by my future MMing)
Chest Scar Pattern + Superior Blood Magic Rune (-shrug-)
Arm Scar Pattern + Superior Curses Rune (Again, arbitrary application.)
Bonelace Leggings (From my un-runed armor. Can't have my Necro running around in his boxers, now can I? ^_~)
Foot Scar Pattern + Superior Soul Reaping Rune

Deadly Cesta (Energy + 2 over 50% health... because I'm a cheapskate)
Grim Cesta (The -50 HP Staple of GW Economic Inflation. =3 )

------
Works the same as any old 55 monk, but the runes and cesta bring the HP down to 30. When level 16 is hit, it'll have 50 hp. After that, I'll toss a major rune into the mix on a piece of cheap Collector's Armor as needed, until he can survive with full Superior runes.

Functionality is as such-
Enter the instance- I've been using Anvil Rock for the sake of convenience. Not very efficient, but hey, better than nothing, and I'm still getting used to the timing.
Cast the three dedicated enchants.
Locate a good spawn or two.
Aggro.
Cast Protective Spirit, then Healing Breeze (and renew them as needed).
Once they've clustered, cast Rotting Flesh.
Use Vile Touch on a single target until it dies.
Renew Rotting Flesh.
Use Necrotic Traversal.
Wait until the whole mess of 'em drops dead at once.
Collect loot.
Repeat.
------
And that's all she wrote. My Guild Leader now owes me a bit of gold. ^_~

Edit: Just fixed a few grammar thingies. Also, writing a guide on 55ing (or 30ing, 40ing, etc) cheaply and below level 20, including all possible combinations of major and superior runes, the -20 hp focus, and the -50 hp cesta. Ideas (or flames) appreciated. ^__^

Wind Riders and their kin will eat you up. Conjure Phantasm + Shatter Enchantment (multiple times) = dead necro (because you tried a 55 build with an under level 20 character).

Interesting if you put this build against the doppleganger.

Do you get enough energy from your enchantments and soul reaping to maintain HB and PS?

Yous guild leader is worth listening to.
No 55 can solo anywhere with those little pests that run vampiric touch. Dead instantly and just as the one before me said the wind riders should also mess you up.

55 build = pwnage versus warrior/ele/ranger/mo
55 build = pwned versus necro/mesmer

-erm-
As I said, I was using Anvil Rock (level 10 minotaurs in large numbers were better than nothing. -shrug-) Attempting to 55 the Maguuma would be of a difficulty not unlike trying to solo The Leviathan.
...
Okay, it'd be slightly easier. Regardless.

55ing 'too early' works quite well. I quickly graduated to the Blessed Griffons outside Camp Rankor, then various other spawns of minotaurs, and just recently the Hydras outside Augury Rock. I somewhat alternated. Farm a while for the gold to get a run to the better farming spot, then go back and PUG a mission, then farm a while... breaks up the monotony and turns you a tidy profit for armor.

Edit: Mmm. It strikes me wise to disclaim something.
I am not claiming that 55 soloing in less than ideal conditions is in any way efficient. It's certainly NOT the fastest way to get your gold, in the long run. All I'm saying is that it's better than nothing if you're a little strapped for plats on your way through the Campaign, and is more viable than what -seems- to be commonly thought. Mmmkay? Mmmkay. ^_^

Well no matter what your meaning was (i didnt read the skippable text) this IMO doesn't deserve a new thread as there is already like 50 topics about I-necro and one big one. I would post it on that one big one if i was you.

The wind riders near Seeker's Passage is still deadly. Scarabs will disenchant you quickly too.

And in Perdition Rock the giant necro fiends will remove your enchantments too (but you'll be level 20 by then. )

Well, whatever, so far your build works for you and you seem to be having some fun. Since that is the case, keep going. I'm just pointing out the dangers you will be running into from where you are (Augry Rock) and on. Shiverpeaks shouldn't be bad at all for you. I don't remember enchantment removers there. Troll farming and gryphon farming should be good in the shiverpeaks. Don't go to Greneth's Footprint/Sorrow's Furnace. Enchantment strippers and health degen awaits.

Good luck, and keep having fun.
