Sorry 'bout that, I thought it would work 'cause usually Mist Form allows me to cast when farming Trolls who use Disrupting Chop, so I thought it prevented any kind of interrupt. ^^'

Alternate Lightning Strike and Enervating to negate much of his damage to you. Glyph of Concentration to protect your Lightning Surge/Orb spike.

Thinkin Mantra/Resolve will kill your energy if he's set for strait up interrupts. Distortion or Physical Resistance may work well though.

the aura thingie that makes you gain energy when you atk
blinding flash/mantra of concentration/mantra of resolve is the end of interruption
elem and air attunement (almost free spells)
air magic smiting (best bet if you wanna beat him with ele skills, they have 100 base armor against ele dmg...air got armor pen on most spells AND blinding flash is there too)
easy battle really, you can outdmg troll unguent easily

The average longest cast time of all spells included. I.E: All fire spells basically, heh...

Are you kidding? Do that i'll switch to my Fiery Flatbow of Pruning and get a nice damage bonus. Better still i could bring Kindle Arrows. Instead they may have Read the Wind or Apply Poison (or Poison Arrow). They could easily interrupt Glyph of Concentration. A lone air ele tickles a ranger, unless your a spirit shephard you still do naff all. Plus a real interrupter would run off when you cast Blinding Flash and come back with a vengeance and interrupt it later on

go mesmer secondary and take mantra of resolve. its the only mesmer skill you need and it will serve you well against rangers and mesmers

then go either earth for armour buffs and armour penetrating attacks or air for some armour penetration and various blinds and knockdowns or just use plain old fire and burn him to the ground
