Default Auspicious Incatation mechanics

Does anyone know exaclty how Auspicious works?

More specifically, if I use Echo or A. Echo and then a skill such as backfire, I now have a copied version of Backfire.

Now, if I cast Auspicious and then the copied version of Backfire, will Auspicious disable my Echo/A. Echo for an additional 30 seconds or the copied version of Backfire for 30 seconds (which wouldn't matter as it is gone in 20 seconds anyway)?

I know that is a bit jumbled, sorry.

I hope this wasn't answered somewhere else...I did look but found nothing.

This skill has a confusing effect to match its protracted name. Basically, it gives you back some of the Energy used to cast your next spell, and in return this spell and Auspicious Incantation are disabled for additional lengths of time. A good combination is to use Auspicious Incantation with skills that are independant of recharge like Arcane Mimicry, Arcane Larceny, Arcane Thievery

^ GuildWiki

So, it'll apply to the recharge of the echoed spell. Which really wont make a diff as it will be replaced by Echo in 20 secs anyway.
