Default Americans Top Scorers in PvE??

I was looking at the PvE missions with scoreboards and every slot I checked was earned by an American team. I wonder: are Americans the only ones allowed to place on scoreboards in American districts? If so, why even put the nationality next to the team?

I am more intrigued by the possibility that the scoreboard is open to ALL regions, and Americans are some sort of PvE nuts.

As a side note, I wish more of PvE was as demanding as PvP in terms of builds being sort of a science. For example: missions should be so demanding that teams that opt to take a warrior with 12 healing 12 smiting should fail the mission and try again without the w/mo.

KNowing how incredibly bad so many pugs are, making it as hard as you say would be ridiculous, and the average gamer would not be able to beat the game, and there goes the "average gamer" apeal that anet goes for.

Maybe PUGs are incredibly bad because having a team that is practically 7/8 or even 5/8 is okay in guild wars when it comes to completing PvE objectives. That one player or 3 players don't contribute anything, yet they go on to the next missions until finally you yourself are at the end of the game stuck with 7 idiots in your party that never had to improve to get where you are.

From what I have seen and heard it seems that American servers have more players participating in PvE. The EU servers has more PvP players.

Nobody else has a comment on this? Does ANet publish how many users are in each region? Maybe huge numbers of American players would explain the dominance of the PvE scoreboards. Otherwise I guess Luciora is right, we just PvE more.

It depends on which server you are on. In Europe there are no Americans and it's the opposite on your server. Ah yes, sad but true you are not the only one in the world!
