Default What build is good use at start of game?

Hello... I just made a Rit witch is currently at The First mission on Shing Jea island..

Now, i dont really know much about rits other than they can Spam spirits and Solo Farm with Echo VwK ...

So mainly, what build would be good to use to start with? Becouse i cant Cap Ritual lord yet, so spirit spammer might not be that funny..

Also, is there any build that most pugs expect all rits to be, like every1 expect monks to be healers?

Oh, and i took Monk as my 2nd Prof but that can be changed soon as i reach kaining center..

So, come with some basic info and a suggestion of what role i could follow...

I tryed the stickey but that dident really gave other than some builds that mainly needed some funkey elite skil =.=

Ty in advance

You could try Healer, or Chaneller.

Those are probably ur best bets

Once you get to Senji's Corner you can run minion bomber. Very fun build I must say

Looks like the kiddies have gotten wind of Dahnel's solo UW Vengeful build. This build is about to blow up - expect the number of Ritualists seen in game to increase massively, just as the number of monks increased massively with the widespread proliferation of the 55 monk build once it became widely known that you could solo UW with it.

And we all know what happened soon after - Rend Enchantments. Yep, expect there to be a new monster skill which causes you to drop ashes, or perhaps an updated recharge of 60 seconds for VwK.

In the meantime, enjoy it while you can. Props to Dahnel for creating a build so sweet it begged to be nerfed!

I still belive that i can enjoy my Ritualist without VwK soloing.. So nerfing it will just be annoyance.. It wont kill all the fun my rit brings.. And it wont stop me from Farming.. (also got 55 monk and Alot of other farming builds for my Chars)

Most PUGs expect a healer or a protector (union, shelter, etc.). No one expects or even desires to see a Channeller (I do, but that's just me. )

I channel when I travel with henchies. I heal when I'm with PUGs. I minion bomb when asked to do so. Senji's Corner is where you get to change your secondary profession.

Until you get RL, spam Weapon of Quickening (from V. Square). It quickens your recharge time of spirits.

Generous Was Tsungrai (massive self heal)
Flesh of My Flesh
Soothing Memories (use with Generous up, if possible)
Mend Body and Soul
Recuperation (a binding ritual, but very useful and allows Mend to remove conditions)
Weapon of Warding
Vengeful Weapon
Another Skill of Your Choice (a secondary profession skill if you want)

^ I'd add Resiliant Weapon to that list... long duration and a great effect, combos with Wielder's Boon a treat Just slap it on any party members picking up / likely to pick up conditions or hexes.

As you're a Rt/Mo, you can cast it on yourself and combo it with Draw Conditions or Martyr, although a /Me or /N can also self-inflict conditions to trigger it (Illusion of Haste / Blood Drinker etc)

I didn't find any of the other builds enjoyable at first other than a restoration ritualist. Towards the end of Factions, though, I'm thinking that restoration could use a boost. :\

I am guilty of this crime but I farmed Vermin and Stonereapers with this. It's tough coming up with the funds for 15k Kurzicks.
