Clearing UW
2 Guildies and myself recently decided to try to clear out UW (not just a smite run and Bladed). We were using a 55 monk, SS nec, and Judges insight/Barrage Ranger. We had no trouble clearing the cmites and tortured Spirits (cleared in about 25 minutes) but getting past all the trappers proved to be a problem. Any Advice on how to do ths with a 3-man team and get to the Chaos Planes (or whatever they are) and once there what to do on the planes.
Thx in Advance.

I do this to clear "les chevaucheur" ((sorry i'm french)the mesmers) with 2 mates:
1Ranger with spike trap and 2 with barrage.
it was long but we can kill them easely.
With this build we are able to clear all the UW except Necros.
Drider are hard to kill too

Getting past the trappers shouldent be a problem :S .. Monk move in And tank.. SS'er cast SS to dmg, and the Ranger Barrage to interupt the healing springs :S It can even be done as 2 man.. The Monk just gotta interupt the H springs with his wand..

ya trappers arent hard at all, ss just echos ss, and both of you interrupt healing srpings, barrage ranger can help too, but i usually clear every part of uw with a 55 monk and a ss, is the ss wants to stay.

Mending + Baltha spirit, tank them and interrupt all their healing springs with wand (learn the pattern), necro hides behind a wall if possible, drops 1 ss and moves back.

Sry to say but how the RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO will Natures renewall make a 55 unable to tank them?! Oh noes, 2*degen from enchants, and takes longer to cast breeze witch aint even needed to tank 3 dmgers =.= Hardest part for a 2 man group is getting the Healing springs interupted, but with a Barrager in the party that cant be very hard i think

With a 55hp build it's hard because as soon as someone other than the tank approaches the mindblades they break aggro and scatter. It's a lot easier using a spirit bond tank and a smiter here, because the smiter can passively kill the mindblades without ever going near them. There are a couple of builds/guides for dual SB already on this forum.
For killing the behemoths, a barrage ranger with whirling and favorable winds can do it solo, but for real speed take an extra ss necro and use mark of pain on the behemoths in the middle of groups. I remember trying a 55/ss/nuker build for clearing UW a while back, it was really slow, and we got killed by mindblades chasing us all the way back to the labyrinth.
With dual SB and a barrage ranger we managed to get clearing the spawning pools, chaos plains and bone pits down to about 4 hours. With a 55hp you get into trouble when spellbreaker runs out because the mindblades use migraine and power drain making getting breeze up almost impossible. The spirit bond tank can survive without spellbreaker because spirit bond/ prot spirit is a 0.5 second cast even under migraine and they don't bother interrupting it. If you really want to use a 55hp, you might want to take quickening zephyr on a ranger to make sure you can recast spellbreaker, but even then it will be hard to kill the mindblades without them turning on the rest of the party.
For clearing the bone pits, the ranger becomes the tank and you just put spellbreaker + judges on and kill as much as you can before they run out. Rinse and repeat. The tricky part is the first bridge where you can't hit the ones on top properly due to line of sight. Here you need to enchant the ranger, and get him/her to run under the bridge, round, and over to the top, making sure they end up close enough to the edge so they can be rebirthed back down. You should have enough time to kill one of the groups before spellbreaker runs out, then just get rebirthed back down and repeat the process until the bridge is clear. I prefer taking a nuker for this bit because it's a lot less messy, but that means either going 4-man or spending a lot longer killing the behemoths.
The only quest I haven't managed 3-man(yet) is the four horsemen, purely because they come from two directions simultaneously and at least one group always gets to the reaper. I keep trying it after runs but haven't managed to properly tank them away from the reaper yet.
Personally I find the fastest way to clear everything is to go 5-man and use a dual SB, smiter, nuker, ranger and ss. Less drops each, but you get a handy blood-rit, and once you get to the behemoths you can leave the ranger and nuker there to kill the behemoths while the others clear the smites.

A Barrager 55hp and SS can do it if the monk also brings armours that allows him to heal. This means that the Brrager can kill the Obsidians with barrage and intterupts. The Monk can then tank all other creatures in the area. This allows you to get to Chaos easily (if not take a while).

With the dual monk build using spirit bond tank and holy smiter we have cleared the behemoths, mesmers and necros with ease. Just be wary of natures renewel and drop one enchant before you approach them and has been said learn their pattern and disrupt HS with wand.

For the 4 horsemen quest, the tank should switch to normal armor and let the reaper tank with SB/prot spirit on him
