Healing Signet
Is it me, or is this skill on every warrior's skill bar?
Every warrior my party ever had used it at least once in mission/gvg/pvp/etc.

Apparently, you haven't played a warrior much. There's "I will Avenge You!" and "Victory is Mine!" also.

Not to mention "I Will Survive!" as well.
Too bad all of those are conditional. Vim requires conditions on enemies (but that's something you should be spreading anyway" and IWAY requires dead allies. Healing signet is the only one you can trigger whenever and gain over 100 hp with, at the cost of -40 armor.

Most of the warriors I've seen use it are pretty basic minded. They see a quick way to gain a chunk of hp and they are like "woot free hp", but it's not really is it. It's a sig(easily blocked by mesmers) it takes time to cast(interupts) and to cap it off you take double damage while casting; so overall that 100hp now looks more like 50 at best. In truth most secondary classes will have better ways to heal than a warrior, so why not use those, you have two classes for a reason.

I will take any warrior with healing sig over any warrior using Orison as a self-heal. Or Ether Feast..Aura of Restoration, Troll Unguent, etc. And if Im going to waste an elite on a heal, might as well be Healing Hands.

back on topic
I love healing sig. I just have to remember to use it when im not being attacked heavily. the -40 armor (NOT double damage) is dangerous

40 armor is essentially doubling base damage of whatever is hitting you. Dunno about attack bonuses however.

100-40 = 60 AL which is double damage that is physical and elemental. 90/80-40 is more than double on physical and elemental damage.

heal sig saves lives
warrs with heal sig in TA or RA are good for monks
so many times ive seen my warriors life going down only to see it shoot up again by a heal sig, allowing me to use the 5 energy i woulda used on him on someone else under attack

Agreed.
Plus, there are +armor skills and defensive stances which can reduce or negate the lower armor provided by Healing Signet.
