Default Quick Insignia Survey..

I'm just curious which insignias are you using on your PvE or PvP Warriors. Full Radiant? Dreadnoughts? Sentinels? Or a combo of the three? I see the price for 1 Sentinels at 7k each. Most popular or is it the most rare?
Post your insignias, and maybe a little reasoning behind your set. Thanks.

I haven't bought my warrior any armor yet, but I'll get him Primeval when I get there. I'll be one in a million, but hey.
So I'm still using my Factions armor - Full Glads.

Good thread
I'm still using my factions full glad armor and am almost all the way into the end of Night fall now and was wondering if there would be any benefits at all from me scrapping my old armor and making new armor to which I can add insignia to it.
Any at all?
Or is this new thing all cosmetic?
Thanks

Heh.
I still have my Knights armour from Prophecies.
I thought of getting that 15k Kurzick, but seeing how NF was coming close to release, I thought "Eh? I'll just wait for NF and check out the new armour set", but I was disappointed with the design so I just sticked with the Knights.

As for your question, since I always have 14 in Strength, I'd go with Sentinel. (6k last time I checked at rune trader)

Sentinel is the most popular because most warriors are bad.

Unless you're going 16 (or 14--minor ftw) weaponmastery/13 strength, there's no reason to run it, and I like using healing signet and sometimes (and only in pve) Bonetti's defense.

The other issue I have with sentinels is, if you decide to change your build, and you don't have 13 strength, you're wearing collector armor. And If you only have one armor set, you need something more flexible.

I don't see much use for Sentinel unless you're farming - but I would have high tactics, not strength when farming. I never have 13 in Strength. I always go 16Weapon/9Str/11Tactics. So the 6-7k price tag on one Sentinel Insignia really puzzled me. So what kind of builds do these people run? Builds with Power Attack or other Str-based attack skills? If you're tanking, bring Dolyak, or better yet go W/E for Earth Defense skills. Sounds like the Sundering Mod of insignias to me.

Sentinel's really is the sundering mod of insignias.

16/9/11 is generally my favorite setup, the only time I have 13 strength is when I'm running dragon slash without heal sig in pve, and running shock warrior in HA. When running shock warrior I'm more prone to running Gladiator's armor because going shock+axe is often fairly energy intensive.

In PvE, I run around with mix gladiator's for 25 energy along with a dreadnaught's set for the extra elemental defense depending on the zone. I haven't played my warrior in PvP since I Frenzied SS; always monking now.

brawlers is what my 15k sunspear has, +10 armor while attacking is good and negates the -10 while attacking that some of my weps have so i'm fine with that... however i do have glads and i guess platemail would be exactly same as brawlers wouldn't it?

I would use full radiant on all pieces and on a secound set I would use dreadnoughts for elemental defence and for farming purposes(darn imps). To summerise full Glads and Dreadnoughts.

I actually think brawlers is a legitimately useful insignia, because if you don't suck at warrior, you're attacking.

I use Brawler's insignia on my warrior heroes since they will generally be attacking no matter what else is going on. On my own warrior, though, I usually take either Radiant or Survivor's since they're a bit more flexible. Like Ensign said, Radiant is especially helpful if you're running an exhaustion skill.

Stonefist is fairly worthless except in PVP, where it's amazingly good.

I typically have two sets of armor, one dreadnoughts that i use for most things (adrenaline builds and the like), and one set of glads that i use for energy intensive builds.

I really disagree, any warrior I make will have a Stonefist insignia, of course the rest are radiant.
Thanks to the new AI, Frenzy and Bull's Strike are almost manditory for me.

The really scary part for me is reconciling the price of Sentinel's Armor with seeing pugs spam Tactics stances. I know exactly what is going on, and it's really depressing.

If you only have one set of armor for PvP, it's Survivor. For PvE, Dreadnoughts. Sentinel's is great, Radiant is ok for builds with exhaustion skills, and the 'while stance' armor has its place...I can't see myself using any of the other sets though.

Peace,
-CxE

Since I like Primal Rage and my scythe, I say almost all Sentinel.

I'm new at Warrior but i really enjoy my young Nightfall female Warrior. I love switching from axe to sword build every now and then, and NF elites are really pushing me in the game, even if I beat it twice.

I'm currently using knight insignas on all pieces plus a superior absorbtion rune.
I thought -6 damage would be interesting. Am I wrong?

Assassins have a +15 armor while attacking bonus but I personaly don't like it as you actually spend some time not attacking (running after a kiter, even in PvE, using your signet, etc) and then you get no bonus at all.
