From the first part of the post. I'm wondering if I should take this thread seriously.

Isn't that true for most posts though? You want to seem laid back, but serious :O

Try the build. Think about what 3-4 knockdowns do. ( NO casting, NO attack, NO life ). I just stand still if they SS or Empathy me. What's a Memster? A mesmer? IF they pack Distortion, I just take another target. It's not about the build, it's about how you play it. I have no problems killing any target when I don't get blocked/evaded, or blinded.
umm yea u can't knock them down if u can't even get to them -.-''' but thats not the the ponit is u need helf healing
and btw i use a build like this but it has self helf healing, and i have won the glad track title with it ......and i did try your build if sumone degen u like crazy you dead and u would make your monk always focus on healing u not anyone esle cause your dieing like a cow

....It's called not rushing in and getting aggro. Also, don't try it in RA if you don't know how to play the mindgame. I don't need selfheals. There's res sigs for that. But offcourse, if people don't take that, is that my fault? It says your profession is a Whammo...and you say you need ' helf healing '. Preventing damge > healing it. Get over it, your point is moot.

Hi

Hmm, i was trying something similar to this, just using iron palm rather than shock (your hexing them anywayand the energy you get from black lotus is easily enough for the rest of the combo) but thats cos i find exhaustion na 25-30 energy bar to be a bit harsh.

The great thing about it is, when a warrior starts chasing you "knowing" they can survive your combo, and kill you after its done, you kd them on their first attack, then keep them kded until theyre down to about 30% health, at which point they use hela sig and you kd them nce more for kicks then finish em off with the second falling spider ^_^

Also something interesting to note is the synergy this build has with earthbind, if you get your timings right you can keep them kded for 12 secs straight.

Oh and to the whammo moaning about lack of self healing, self healing isnt that important when you can take someone out this quick, and they cant keep running if they actually want to do someothing else, and once youve got that first hit, they aint getting away from you.

Wouldn't earth bind mess up the chain? They get up, and I knock'm down immediately ( on the second dual attack hit ). If earthbind is used, they'll be on the ground too long I think?

Unless you kinda stall your knockdowns I don't know.

EDIT: Just tried that build, it's extremely fun thanks Yanman

Hi

Yes you need tostall your knockdowns, hence the comment about getting timings right.

As it is now, tehre are some situations in the cahin (well in my chain) where they can get off a 1/2 second spell or so, but with proper timigg, you can stop them even doing that with earthbind.

between a double attack, i think its 0.65 seconds for the first hit, then 0.65 for the second.

Then again i could be wrong.

That's slow? 0.65 between the 2 hits? Can't be.

not completely sure...

attack-1.33 seconds-attack-1.33seconds-dual attack- 1.33 seconds later- attack

So probably, one hit dot on, the second hit 0.65/0.325 seconds later, the next auto attack 0.65/0.975 seconds after the dual? i know its a cycle since the begining to the end is 1.33.
