Default REQUEST: The Stormray farming build?

Since Stormray is really close to Cavalon, I was thinking if anyone of you have any idea of how to farm it.

http://www.gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/KaySey_Stormray

I tried several times luring him back to Hector, the NPC, and sometimes he helps us (we are at least in 2, i still can't solo him because if you lure him all his group will come - 2 Creeping Carps, a Scuttle Fish and some Irukandji...).

Did anyone of you try farming him?

i tried a w/n grenth balance build. u can pull the whole group to the quartermaster. he will heal u (if u have luxon faction). my problem was i could not interupt his heals enough.

i tried 2-man him with a ss necro guildie a couple of times as well. he was actually easy to kill then. he just has a sucky spawn and is hard to pull sometimes. ss and icy weapon took care of interupts as well.

might try to find a more efficient way if i get some time.

I can solo Stormray:

N/Me

Spiteful Spirit
Reckless Haste
Spirit of Failure
Spirit Shackles
Ether Feast
Desecrate Enchantments
Enfeebling Blood
Price of Failure or Insidious Parasite

16 Curses
12 Inspiration
4 Soul Reaping

Fairly complicated build to begin with. Stormray will be with a mob behind a ship not far outside Cavalon. Pull him and his two (or three) creeping carps and lure them over to the Quartermaster NPC and quickly use SS and Reckless Haste as you run. The chances are you'll die pretty soon but that works to your advantage becuse there's a res shrine right next to you. When you res, the supply master NPC will be tanking (and very well may I add) with Life Sheath and little heals. Then you use Spirit Shackles on the boss and Spiteful Spirit on as many of the foes attacking the NPC. Stormray will run out of energy and the carps will die then you use Price of Failure etc, and keep renewing the hexes and it will die pretty soon.

I hope I haven't missed anything out in this little guide. I'll update it when appropriate.

Sometimes he doesn't follow you far. What to do is, go to the protal (Maishag Hills) then return to Stormray and then he might follow.

this should work (even if i don't have a necro at the moment), but i think that the NPC would die instead of tanking forever

The NPC is a great tank. Enfeeble the carps to make it easier on him though.

I noticed that dropping Desecrate for Drain Enchant or some other kind of removal can be a help. KaySey's Balth Aura can really hurt the NPC(even though I can't remember if it dealt double damage or not, been a long time), especially if he happened to spawn with another Scuttle Fish.

well, either scourge healing or backfire go a looooong ways at shutting him down since he has no hex removal... both is like candy sweet!
