A/D using Ebon Dust Aura?
I've never really bothered using any secondary profession skills on my assassin, but with the release of Nightfall I figured that she might pick up some useful Dervish skills, so I switched over her secondary.
I also happened to pick up some rather nice Ebon Talon Daggers from a chest in the Domain of Anguish. Decided to stow them in the bank in case they became useful (daggers are hard to sell these days it seems) and then realized I had the perfect weapons to use with Ebon Dust Aura.
One of the biggest advantages of an assassin is mobility, especially with teleporting attacks. One of the nastiest things in PvE, especially in certain places in Nightfall, is enemy rangers or paragons spiking from range. What if there was a reliable way to keep them from doing that?
Blindness. Activate Ebon Dust Aura, teleport in, start the combo chain, and use Death Blossom to hit as many around you as possible. Failing that, you attack often, so just start hitting each of them with an attack. Once they're blinded, lay into 'em. If a melee enemy comes up to you, hit it and then go back to killing what you were killing.
I haven't tried this yet since my Assassin hasn't done much more of Nightfall than the first mission, but it sounds good on paper. That, and some of the other Earth Prayers skills will no doubt be useful.
