Ive played a lot of guild wars (500+hours) but never made a Warrior.

Some people have said that Axe Mastery is more affective than Sword so i though why not go for axe. Went to FoW with a diff char and got myself a gold Chaos Axe.

atm lvl 17

Axe Mastery 13 (12+1)
Strength 9
Healing Prayers 4

Health 420 Energy 20

Build is a mismash of whatever i had lol - critical chop, cyclone axe, executioners strike, power attack, berzerker stance, armor of earth, mending, healing signet

any ideas??!!

1) Drop all Healing Prayers, it's crap on a Warrior.

2) Drop Mending... I won't even comment.

3) Get a Superior Rune of Axe Mastery asap and if you intend to be able to swap through sword and and hammer then put it on your helmet.

4) ARMOR OF EARTH? wtf? How did you get to be a W/Mo/E?

5) If you use Healing Signet, make sure you have at least 9 points in Tactics (you don't have anything atm (Most Warriors go with the 16/9/11 attribute spread))

6) I'd drop Power Attack, because I find weapon specific attacks are usually better.

7) I'd get a more reliable IAS (if you include Berserkers Stance as an IAS), such as Flail, or if you don't have Nightfall, Flurry.

8) Otherwise you're fine

If you have Factions, try to cap Triple Chop, it's an amazing skill, and it can be capped right outside Kaineng Center.

My skill bar as far as a warrior never changes,wheter its pvp or pve unless I change weapons.

I go 14-weapon
9-strength
and 11-tactics

My axe bar is normally
Eviscerate
Executioners Strike
Critical Chop(love this skill)
Flail
Rush/Sprint/Dash
Healing Signet
(Utility skill)could be a interupt or if your going to face alot of stances wildblow or secondary skill
Rez Sig

Works very well in Pve and for pvp you just change flail for frenzy. I of course have all three campaigns.

Who said that? Dragon Slash builds are incredible for PvE because they do exactly what you want in PvE -- high DPS. Go look at the Dragon Slash thread around here.

This is the basic setup for Warriors --- or what most warrior players like to think
16 in Weapon Mastery - that means 12+1+3 - Helm, Superior Weapon Mastery Rune.
9 in Strength
11 in Tactics

16/9/11 or 16/10/10

Drop all Healing Prayers and add them into Tactics. Get yourself a Superior Weapon Mastery and add it to a +1 Weapon Attribute Helm. Add a Superior Absorption Rune, Superior/Major/Minor Vigor, Minor Strength, and a Minor Tactics.

There is no need for Healing Prayers. Drop Mending, Armor of Earth, Power Attack, Beserker Stance. I use to always use Axe, but recently I've only been using swords.

I am not going to severely alter your build, but some minor modifications.
Critical Chop
Triple Chop
Executioner's Strike
(Another Axe Attk Skill)
Healing Signet
Flail/Flurry
Watch Yourself! - Maybe Rush/Sprint if using Flail
Rebirth/Rez Signet

This isnt my normal build i find it quite refreshing to use because of its easy play style

Penetrating Blow
Cyclone Axe
Flail
Lions Comfort
Enraging Charge

Its dead easy to use, if i feel i need a rez then I sub out one of the Penetarings.

wasn't armor of earth lol was "Watch Yourself" i just look at the logo all the time and think "armor of earth" no idea why. lol.

havnt got factions so no triple chop

but i have nightfall so ill go get flail ill take note of what u guys are saying, didnt really know that its useless to have healing prayers!

ill post once i got my build slightly better lol

Skill points are

Strength - 9
Axe Mast - 16
Tactics - 7

only lvl 17 so dont have enough atrib points for all

I personally dont like swift chop find it to be a waste of a slot and has little damage for a energy skill I would rather pick counter attack more damage and +energy if there attacking in pve everything is attacking.

yeh, i just grabbed swift chop cos it was the only axe skill from the skill guy in lions arch that i didnt have. i think its pretty shit as well.
