Thumbs down Complaints

I thought it would be a good idea to create a place where people can express there dislikes, for I have a few I would like to get out, and see if anyone agrees.

First off, the main quests have become lame. Honestly. I’m a long time Guild Wars player, and new to Nightfall. Now, the only reason why Nightfall doesn’t suck completely, is because its part of a great series.

The main quests have gone straight down the crapper. Honestly, what kind of a quest is “Reach a certain level”, or “Reach this rank” <-- (by doing quests) honestly. That’s the lamest idea ever. A three year old mental retard could come up with that. Lame.

Second, these random walls that bar you from going to certain areas. Oh, there’s a great idea. Let’s make these random walls blocking off cities you need for some quests. Oh, here’s the catch, you can’t get to them because first you have to do these pointless main quests to open them. Oh, yet another genius idea from the retards who designed Nightfall.

Now, the first game, it was a rather big deal to choose your second profession. Gave you time to think about what you wanted to be, why you wanted to be it, and gave you a taste of the moves the secondary profession will give you. Great that was well done.
Oh, no. But the Nightfall morons couldn’t do that. They had to make the second profession rushed. Really guys, you’re in the middle of a quest, you go talk to someone, and BANG! SECONDARY PROFESSION. You’re stuck standing there looking, dumb-founded, at the screen thinking ‘I just started, how in the hell am I supposed to know what goes with dervish? I don’t even have a enough techniques with my dervish to fill the skill bar’.
Ok, well I’ve made the mistake of choosing a bad second profession. Can I fix this? (another example of the intelligence they have showed off so far) No! Not until the end of the game.
Oh, so I’ll get a run there. Nope! You gotta do a quest first!
Ok, I’ll get someone to do that for me. Nope! You have to pay 5k.
Whoa. The stupidity of the people who came up with these horrific ideas, deserve to be fired, and work at McDonalds for the rest of their lives. Suicide is also a valid alternative.

The team that designed nightfall is the same team that designed prophecies.

If I remember right...when you chose your secondary in preasearing you don't have enough skills to fill your skill bar. In nightfall, there is a trainer with a wide variety of skills available in the first city you visit.

Erm...you can change your secondary as soon as you get to the command post. Thats like maybe 25% into the game.
