Flail Vs. Frenzy
what do you think for a warrior primary?
frenzy: requires 5 energy - for 8 seconds, you attack 33% faster, but take double damage
flail: requires 4 adrenaline - for 5-13 seconds (strength), you attack 33% faster, but move 33% slower.
both can be easily cancelled with another stance
frenzy, focused fire is death.
while flail, the foe walks away and you become trapped.
i vote flail. anyone else?

There is a simple answer:
For PvE - Flail is king
For PvP - Frenzy is king
Simple as that

Flail can work in PVP if you have a decent snare. Crippling Slash would be a good skill if it weren't elite. As an elite, I'd put it with Keystone Signet or Dwarven Battle Stance in the trash bin.
There's definitely no contest when it comes to PVE. Flain is a tank's dream come true. And there's Rush, so the foe doesn't walk away. Instead you run him down and thwack him in the back for a guaranteed critical hit.

Flail is more spammable then frenzy, as it requires adrenaline. With frenzy, you have the risk to be spiked for double damage. With flail, if your target isn't snared it's pretty useless. I still like running frenzy tbh.

I use Flail in PvP only when I have a snare, like "Your All Alone!".

Also dont forget flail is no good for spiking with other adrenaline skills because as soon as you hit flail it eats into the adrenaline pool requiring you to hit one more time.

HA should use Frenzy as to not let the monks kite you.
Now if it was FoW than you'd bring flail

Yea, I agree with Flail being PvE only. I've had trouble with kiting in PvE as well and unless you have knockdown or a snare you pretty much get irritated when the enemy monk strolls off.

any good monk kites, and without a snare while using flail, your dead in the water. plus, with frenzy you have ias on demand, whereas if you use flail you need adrenalin.

Flail is horrible for PVP, even if you bring a snare. You've basically neutralized your own snare because you're walking limpfooted as well and your target is STILL kiting you.

Now that I think about it, it goes well cancelling Flail as well.

Yeah, pretty much. Frenzy is fine in PvP both because you usually won't be targeted much anyway, and because you can't afford to snare yourself with Flail. In PvE, you'll probably get attacked some (or a lot, depending on how you play) and the lowered movement speed won't matter so much, so Flail is the way to go.

Why you dont get targeted much in PVP as a warrior you do get targeted often because of frenzy. Now 2 seasons ago when my guild made the run to top 100 we most frequently killed frenzy'd warriors more then we killed casters. Reason being warriors are a huge source of damage in GVG and having your warrior with HP in the 300's im pretty sure he/she isnt going to use frenzy as much or at all because he/she would be so suspectable to a spike. While frenzy is good in the hands of a SMART warrior it isnt as good in the hands of every warrior. Miss those 140 damage eviscerates on warriors =p.
Back on topic yeah in pve I tend to use flail and sprint or flail and dash if im W/A. Now in PVP if your a smart enough warrior use frenzy and I prefer rush as my cancel or like I said before dash if im W/A, but if you feel your not going to be as good or careful when using frenzy and your only going to use it to aderaline dump on a spike use Burst of Aggression.
