Anyone know a good build for D/N that involves Avatar of Grenth?

Doesn't involve Avatar of Grenth, but there's the Virulent Victory dervish....

Spinal shivers is said to work well, since Avatar of Grenth does cold damage.
And don't forget Wearying strike + plague touch = damage + deep wound + weakness.

AoL is elite so he couldn't use grenth with it, but if I were you I would run high myst and scythe with a little in curses and run these skills:
Ava of Grenth
Crippling Sweep
Wearying Strike
Plague Touch
Spinal Shivers
Zealous Renewal
Heart of Fury
res sig
I think that would work well with a competent monk by your side, you would be interrupting almost constantly along with giving your target deep wound, weakness, and cripple, lowering their health and making it to where they can't efficiently fight back or kite you.
*likes this build he thought of* *goes off and plays it and pwns teh nubs*lol anyway GL
Happy Hunting,
Kij

i've been looking into De/N
still playing with my 1st setup but ive been using
Mystic regeneration (overpowered i expect it to be nerfed)
Vital boon (pretty solid self heal, strip it with twin moon re-apply as needed)
aura of thorns (issue here is it triggers slowly...and often misses foes that are running, i initially had it while using mark of pain to stop people running from it)
avatar of grenth (important to try and use that cold damage for something hence the next skill)
spinal shivers (or mark of pain is nice too teach those rits who sit on their spirits a lesson)
twin moon sweep (needed to control your vital boon and aura of thorns enchants since these need to be removed when needed)
chilling victory (also overpowered)
rez sig/rebirth sig
considering adding poisoned heart, i did have plague touch but didnt seem to be using it lots. problem here is what skills to drop since i really like the ones i have, tainted flesh armour of sanctity also interesting.
I've had some pretty nice RA battles so far testing this, and some very amusing Alliance battles..not really tried it past that yet. just the skills i personally like spun together.

Variations of this have been bouncing around the Necro forums for a while, but it's a hoot as a D/N build as well:
Death 12
Scythe 13
Earth 8
Mysticism 3
1. Wearying Strike
2. Signet of Agony
3. Plague Touch
4. Armor of Sanctity
5. Contagion [e]
6. Dark Aura
7. Mystic Regeneration
8. Res
Wearying Strike inficts Deep Wound on enemies, but also gives you Weakness. This triggers contagion, which does two things: first, it distibutes Weakness to all nearby foes, and second it makes you sac 6% health, triggering Dark Aura to deal 41 damage to all adjacent foes. Signet gives you bleeding and comes with a sac, meaning Bleeding all on nearby foes, and two procs of Dark Aura damage. Mystic Regen gives you +9 regen when you need it, and Armor of Sanctity reduces all damage by conditioned foes by 13. As a bonus, any conditions inflicted upon you by enemies go right back to them, and trigger Dark Aura as well!
Fun!

that build looks interesting! Does mystic regen compensate for the sacs AND the damage received from enemies? also, are there enough enemies around you to make the damage worth while?
