Default E/D solos Admiral Kantoh

Good news everyone!

The Ele-Dervish-Tank is able to solo Admiral Kantoh.
First of all: This is not easy and I died alot in the beginning, before i realized dual attunement saves me much energy. But: there is a rez-shrine in his fort so it's easy to continue from there... i could kill him with 60%DP.

Attributes:

Earth Magic: 16 (12+1+3)
Earth Prayers: 8
Energy Storage: 11 (Rest+1)

Skills:
  1. Fleeting Stability
  2. Elemental Attunement {E}
  3. Earth Attunement
  4. Armor of Earth
  5. Stoneflesh Aura
  6. Mystic Regeneration
  7. Sliver Armor
  8. Glyph of Elemental Power

Weapons & Armor:

Best use something that extends your enchantments like Rajazan's Fervor or the Totem Axe.
Any max armor will do, you could use the +10 while enchanted, as you'll always be.

What to do:

Exit Sunspear Sanctuary in direction Jahai Bluffs and run to the east near the fort in Jahai-Bluffs, where Kantoh is located. On approaching a group put up your enchantments (2,3,4,5,6), if there is an ele in the group (1) also, so you're not interrupted by a Meteor. Target the ele first and try to sliver him (8+7). Most times (7) will target a commander first so be careful to stand closer to the ele... When he (the ele) is dead, i usually renew my tank enchantments and let (1) run out to save energy. You shouldn't get low on energy by the way...

When there are only 2 groups between you and the Admiral left , you can try to rush to him and sliver him. As he is an ele Sliver will target commanders around him first... :-( but you should be able to kill him anyways.

Didn't get his staff yet but I'll go on killing him...

Including Elemental Attunement was the key to not running out of energy. I can now solo all groups until Admiral Kantoh. Boy this build can tank...

Have fun everyone!

Cheers! MH.

EDIT: Corrected after capturing Elemental Attunement...
EDIT2: Added armor and weapon advice

Very nice build there, thought it might be well possible on an E/D as i posted in that Mo/D thread already. Anyway well done man!

Thankyou!
Ahhh, that was you. I read that thread and i tought "Man, i know where that place is! This should work much faster with an E/D..."

One thing though... i wrote "...this is not easy..." above. I have to admit, that now, that i use dual-attunement i rather find it hard to die .

Also, i find that the kournian drop a lot of armor... perhaps i'll find some good runes.

Again, have fun!

Cheers, MH.

Yep you get plenty of armors and kournan pendants, hell I got 2 sup runes on my first half successful run with a build that couldnt really take down the dervishes and warriors lol.

Finally got his staff after...uhm...4 hours trying? I realized that i could walk just up to him, if i take care of my enchantments... keeping 6 enchantment alive is kind of... tricky... i like this type of farm-run though (yes, they can't really hurt me if i make no mistakes and i can kill them all MUHAHAHAHAAA). Somehow reminds me of the 55HP-Monk... one mistake --> dead.

Killing everything in the fort usually takes 20-30 minutes for me.

I forgot to mention that i use Rajazan's Fervor (great sword for a "sliverer" because 20% enchantment-extension) and Hajoks Prism (just because).

Have a nice day! (or night, that is...)
