Help with Bows
I have a R/E conjure flame + mark of rodgort + IAS + barrage spammer, and I need a good bow.
Since I have IAS (tiger's fury, and lightening reflexes if I need it), I can safely use a hornbow, which is useful with the added armor penetration. Since I'm using conjure flame, I have to use fiery bowstring. And since I'm going to have some runes on me, I'll need the +30 grip (which I already have).
As far as the third inherent statistic, I'm looking for +15% damage, -10% armor:
"To the Pain!" Damage +14..15%, Armor -10 (while attacking)
Even if find a unique bow that has that stat, I've heard that you can't mod unique bow, and what are the chances that it will be a fiery hornbow of fortitude.
I would like a "cool" looking bow, like Custo's Hornbow, or a shadow bow, but I have to mod them to fit my needs. So is my option to just get a stock hornbow, and put all my mods on it? I'm afraid that it will look like crap, and won't look like Custo's or a Shadow or anything.
Are there any unique or rare bow (mursaat maybe?) that I could get that I would be able to mod with my upgrades?

You can change the damage mod on any blue, purple, or gold bow from Nightfall that has an inscription slot (i.e. has an empty inscription slot or has a damage mod that can be replaced), but green bows can't be modded.
If you want a green hornbow for your build, then you are out of luck since there are no green hornbows with a fiery mod:

You can find a listing of the various available hornbow skins here:
http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Bow
Personally, I like the 'Fleshy' hornbow skin, which is available as a collector item. It is affected by dyes and generally looks good in various colors. A good one for a conjure build could be found from this collector:

I know you didn't ask for an opinion on your build, but I would warn you that running Tiger's Fury with Barrage will be very energy heavy and you won't be able to take a zealous bow since Conjure Flame requires you to use a fiery bow. Your only way around this is to bring Conflagration, which might slow you down too much to make it worth the effort. Personally I wouldn't reccomend your setup, but I'll leave you to make your own decisions there.
For future reference, use www.guildwiki.org to find the answer to many common questions like this.

I understand your concern about the build, but I run it with druid's to increase mana, and I will get a good shortbow to have as an alternate when I can't cast Tiger's Fury anymore.
So I am pretty much stuck buying a collector's bow, then putting mods on it, or being very lucky and finding a perfect gold bow that happens to look good in Elona?
Also, are shadow bows modifiable? Because they look rather good, I wouldn't mind using that as my hornbow.

All gold and purple bows can have their strings and grips modded. If you get a bow from Prophecies or Factions you can't change the mod however. Also, just to point out, you will likely want a +15% enchanted over a +15%/-10 mod since you will always be enchanted with Conjure Flame.

Do you mean Prophecies or Factions?
And yeah, I thought about the enchant one, just worried that a break enchantment will be very bad for me, especially considering the recharge.

While Conjure is dispelled and not yet recharged, you won't need the fiery string and could thus switch to a bow with different type of string.

Should read: Factions.

Shadow bows do drop in torment from menzies, so an inscribable one isnt out of the question. All of the other mods can be changed however on the older shadow bows and because everyone wants the inscription ready variants right now, you may be able to find a sweet deal on one of those.
Mursaat hornbows on the other hand only drop in prophesies, and have always been popular. Perhaps take up chest farming in southern shivers as a night job?

Edit: in fact since I was curious: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/auction/item.php/id=308646 (not my auction)

Is mursaat bow unique? And what are its stats and can I mod it (add inscriptions and mods).
So I CAN mod a perfect shadow bow? As in, put in inscriptions and mods?
