Another problem occurs if Sunreach uses his sig beyond your reach, which he more then often does. You end up having to follow him into the aggro zone to distract him and draw his minions back. I also found that the aggro points for the different minions varied. For example Wardens of the Earth usually have a deeper aggro point than other wardens. I also found was the aggro points were not consistent, which does not help matters at all.

I have also found that some of the patrols get stuck and that spirits etc cause monsters to stop moving.

All in all this farm is not easy, I have managed to kill him once. As I have said before I am not new to farming and am competent with most runs. This one however is simply too unpredicatble.
If you practice a bit you should be able to kill him under 10 min every single time, which is how it works for me now.

Watched the video, its what I did. I still think its a very fussy build with too much room for error.

I'm sorry guys. This is not one of those Me/Mo "hit 1,2,3,2,1,3" spiritbond builds.
This one actually requires skill. Keep practicing or just forget it all together. The shield sells for 40-45k or even less if you get lucky now.

I'm not saying it is. I can do this farm, but I have failed too many times due to the fact it is not consistent. For example in your build you mention a wallow patrol and avoiding it. On more than several occasions that patrol has been stuck. You mention an aggro points as though they are static, but they change. Also when fighting the first group of wardens, the turnaround point is sometimes completely ignored and then you simply cannot shake them. Granted its possible to get the shield, but its not full proof as you claim it to be. I congratulate you for finding the build as it is, but for me it not that viable as a farm run.

I will not argue with you on certain points. In some cases, you are right. In some cases, you are completely wrong. Instead, let me tell you that I have sold 6 of these shields, with a total time spent on farming them not exceding 5 hours.

I guess you already took care of the video oles =X. Anyways, I don't find this farm difficult at all. Use the terrain (aka the hill and priest) to your advantage. I always kill the warriors before I take care of the ritualist because they pull out of heal range. Next thing is always the ritualist. For my optional skill slot I always take whirling for some quick tanking to take down an enemy. With some practice, it is really a guanenteed run.

Nice job! This is one of the easiest runs I've hopped into. All it takes is a little experience. Found the first shield without much effort.

Being trying this again. The mob with sunreach are aggroed too easy. Also this time I got killed by invisible wardens of the forest. Wohoo! Sorry random build that dont work.

I have to agree with Thanas with Sunreach having two rits with him, hes almost impossible. It more luck and hoping something on anets end messes up, rits get stuck or sunreach does or something along those lines.

I also agree with Thanas. For me the patrol dont even go back, they followed me all the way to the portal. They just don't go back to their patrol pattern. I guess ANET changed their behavior. Thanks for the build but I guess is just luck of the draw to complete the run.
