The power of combining Serpent's Quickness w Attuned Was Songkai
Using Serpent's Quickness (lasts 15 s at 0 attribute in Wilderness) along with Attuned Was Songkai is a combo that has great potential for the Ritualist. This allows you to keep Attuned Was Songkai in hand at all times, thus reducing your energy costs and improving your overall effectiveness.
One idea is to use it as a Rit Lord to deal w the high cost of spirits: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10053444
or as a Restoration Rit: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...=1#post2107755
But, it also works great as a Channeling Rit:
16 Chan, 13 Spawn, 3 Wilderness
(At 13 Spawning, 5 energy = 3 energy, 10e = 6e, 15e = 8 e)
Serpent's Quickness
Attuned Was Songkai {E}
Spirit Rift
Ancestor's Rage
Channeled Strike
Destruction
Essence Strike (gets you 10 energy back, net gain 7)
Spirit Burn/Rupture Soul/Flesh of my Flesh
If you don't like spirits, you can replace the last 3 skills with weapon spells or other attack spells. Or if you want some healing you can put some points from Channel and put then in Resto and use Spirit Transfer.
The Attuned/Serpent's combo also works great with offensive spirits.
15 Commun, 11 Spawn, 11 Channel, 1 Wilderness
(At 11 Sp, 5e =3 e, 10e = 6e, 15e = 9e, 25e = 16e)
Serpent's Quickness
Attuned Was Songkai {E}
Dissonance/Disenchantment/Shadowsong
Pain
Bloodsong
Boon of Creation
Painful Bond
Disenchantment/Shadowsong/Flesh of my Flesh
25e spirits will only cost 16e, and you'll get 5e back from Boon, so that's just 11e net for those. 15e will cost you a net of 4e. This allows you to spam painful bond (9e) quite well (I usually run out of energy spamming it if not carrying Attuned Was). If you can always keep Attuned and Boon up, you can keep putting up Diss/Disenchant/Shadowsong as they recharge.
Start with Serpent's then Attuned, then Boon, and then Disenchantment/Shadowsong (if cast while still under Serpent's these will recharge by the time they die). Dissonance does not fully recharge but gets close. Cast Painful Bond every chance you get, you'll have the energy for it. You should be able to keep 3 spirits up at all times, so you'll be putting out some nice dmg.

What's the difference between this one and the other Rt/R also found on the first page?

Besides the fact each build has completely different skill bars? Maybe you should try reading the posts.
I've been using almost the exact same second build for my channeling recently. Works great in the echovald forest, since the wardens often leave spirits for me to use. I prefer to put more points into channeling than communing, but either way works well.

How does this build perform compaired to...
16Chan
13resto
4 spawn
Essence
Gaze
Burn
Rift
destruction
vengfull weapon
Mend Body and Soul
preservation/Flesh of My Flesh
using essence as your energy management and haveing 2 other 5e spells that do damn good damage and rift for crowd controll
essence returns 10 ernegy while in teh area of a spirit for the cost of 5 energy
just asking because i use this build when doing a chan rit and i dont have energy problems... plus i have the dmg from my channeling wand passively adding 7-26 dmg (depending on target) every 1.5 seconds(when not casting of corse and i use the weapon to ensure that me and my spirit are in range together when spiking the spells)... alot of time i will start off the attack using rift and while it is blooming cast my spirit and start spaming away

Sinican, your build should be tweaked a little. I`d say use something like this.
Essence Strike
Gaze From Beyond
Spirit Burn
Spirit Rift
Preservation
Generous Was Tsungai
Resilent Weapon
Flesh of My Flesh
Anyways Joe, I really like your build. It seems very good. I am excited to try it

generous was actually doesn't fit well into that build im afraid as it would remove my HCT/HSR/+chan as well as my passive dmges allowing my chan rit to deal that little addition damage and additional energy from weapons as well as i dont wear armor that benefits from it and there arent any spells that benefit from it either other than channeled which is out due to the 2sec activation time and energy cost...
im also concerned about their being no heal specially since mend body and soul has condition removal with your spirit and a nice heal even without...resilent weapon may be a good replacement for vengfull weapon though cept my build focuses on dmg and vengfull heals and does dmg at the same time so its a toss up also 3/4cast and spamable... and when i chose to take only one spirit i take destruction over life...
id like to say though i was running the your build before i discovered wep/offhand and the usefullness of +15AL while activating armor(which is a nice universal armor for many different rit builds)... since then i have chosen builds that fit around constant casting and energy management to sustain it... but i rarely take FoMF on any of my rit builds esspecially my chan one... unless definately needed like pvp.

The core skills are both Attuned Was Songkai + Serpent's Quickness. So there's practically no difference, everyone can think of variations like these.

The first build you mentioned was for restoration magic; the two builds posted here focus on 2 different skill lines, one is channeling and the othe is offensive spirits. Both builds have sparked entirely different lines of conversation. If you can't see that difference, then do us a favor and don't post again.
Yes, each build focuses on attuned was songkai+serpent's quickness, but each build is applied differently as well. Troll somewhere else.
