Default Divert Hexes v.s. Blessed Light

Divert Hexes: E:10, C:1, R:5
Remove 1...3 hexes off target ally. For each hex removed in that way that ally loses one condition and is healed for 15...79 health.
pros: removes multiple hexes. removes 1 condition per hex. heals per hex.
5 second recharge. prot. requirement.
cons: 10 energy cost. 1 second cast time. requires hex to heal/ remove condition.

Blessed Light: E:10, C:3/4, R:5
Heal Target ally for 10...136 health and remove 1 hex and condition.
pros: heals and removes no matter what. 3/4 cast time. 5 second recharge
cons: only removes 1 hex/condition. 10 energy cost. Divine Requirement.

In my situation, i beleive Divert Hexes is the better buy here. Why? well, it removes multiple hex, and if max hexes are removed, it heals for an amount equal or greater than Blessed Light.

It's definitely better against hex stacking, but if the other team doesn't use many hexes you've essentially wasted your monk's elite slot. BL is a bit more versatile, while DH would be better under ideal circumstances.

Blessed Light is tied to divine favor which makes it versatile. If it didnt require prot prayers maybe it would be better.

Divert Hexes is a wonderful hex management skill. And so is Expell Hexes (which is a Me non-attribute and so perfectly viablo on a Mo). You don't see any Mo running Expell, you won't see many Mo running DH either. The reason is the same- it's too niche and hex heavy builds as of this point aren't very popular. Plus since its non-Divine, this skill can be placed on the same chars that normally Expell goes on- Me.

This could change tho... Hex heavy might be coming back with the 2 new large AoE Necro hexes on the table- Meakness and Ulcerous Lungs, which work well in combination with Suffering. Versus such heavy hex pressure, maybe we will see DH Mo... who knows...

As of this point, BL seems more attractive.
