Unhappy Soul Twisting - Beats purpose of combining professions?

I was recently designing a new build, when I came across the elite skill 'Soul Twisting', great to manage a spirit like Conflagration, which I used back then.
all excited I started making the basics etc. untill I tried the final rt build I made.

Soul Twisting: Elite Skill (e=5 r=15) - Destroy target allied spirit, your next binding ritual casts 66% faster and recharges instantly.

when I finaly tried this, I found out it won't work on the normal ranger nature rituals. to me - this kind of beats the purpose of using it for anything else then ritualist spirits. unlike ritual lord it has little to no use to anything other then ritualist spirits, apart from destroying one.

so my question is; how do you feel about the skill? in my oppinion it could be ritual without making it overpowered. and it quite beats the whole idea of two professions, since it's impossible to combine it.

Their are several skills that only work within bounds of the 1 profession. Monk skills are really bad about this (only effecting one line of their attributes and etc)

It was made this way basically for balance reasons more than anything.

It's too bad it doesn't work on other rituals, but using on displacement is kinda fun...

ive seen ritualists bring Anguished Was Linguah (name check?) and then soul twist it for a fast shadowsong or bloodsong. Then they just placed a regular Pain spirit and i guess it improves the speed to lay down quite tactical spirits

Lingwah

Actually I saw someone soul tiwst... I think it was Bloodsong, used anguished was lingwah and then set down pain and dissonance in a heartbeat right into the enemy lines. That was a good skill combination.

I just wish they have a skill that let us steal spirit... that would make games rather interesting. Then steal enchant (the moment you remove, it goes on you without casting), then a hex version. lol, ok I am just dreaming (maybe not?).

I find soul twisting most useful when you want to focus maintain 1 spirit. (which everyone should have seen)

While shelter now days are quite hard to maintain without being properly equiped, but stuffs like union still can help quite alot.

While I still dislike offensive spirit; the larger the battle the less useful they are.
