Whats a good secondary profession for a monk and devish
My buddy and I created new charactors for nightfall, i've been playing factions but hes totally new to guildwars, and I made a monk and he made a devish, whats a good secondary profession for monk and devish?
oh I have quick question, he bought the collectors edition and has a key or something to get extra stuff, where does he enter it in? iam not talking about the buddy key.

I think keys are just entered in the chat menu with / whatever. But don't quote me on that, as I don't have Nightfall. I don't know about dervishes so I'll come from the monk side.
I'm a monk ranger. I get running skills, condition removals, and some interesting combos from my secondary..
Warrior would also give you running skills, as well as some shouts. There are some shields out there that req tactics and give healing bonuses, though I don't consider this a big factor. I've found several shields with +1 monk(with percents).
Paragon would also give some good shouts, for support work.
Rit (if possible) would give spirits good for healing, protecting your allies.
Ele and mesmer both give energy management, as well as very good defense spells. While the other classes have good dodge/defense skills, make sure they aren't linked to a weapon you won't be carrying or to a primary attribute.
Umm... I hope that helps in some degree, but your best bet is think of your playstyle and go to Wiki to double check skills you might want to use.
But that's just my two cents.

He adds the extra keys just as he added his Nightfall key, Manage/add access keys or whatever below the password box prior to logging in.

Wouldn't this be better suited with the dervish and monk profession forums.

Warrior has very few skills to offer a monk primary, so it would be easier to just buy those after you've already ascended. Mesmer is generally the best all-around secondary for monks.
I don't know about the dervish, but /Mo is always a safe bet for PvE.

For a Monk, Mesmers are considered to be one of the best secondaries, because of the Inspiration Magic line.
Really good Monks can manage their energy with just Mo/x, but many seem to lose energy rapidly. Thus Mo/Me is a good choice, just to get the energy gain from the Inspiration line.
As for Dervishes, I'm not sure if the Primary Attribute only means Dervish enchantments or any enchantments. If it activates from any enchantments, then D/Mo is a good choice. However, you can go with Mesmers (again for the energy gain), Elementalist (increase enchantment defenses), Warrior (shouts and stances), Paragon (shouts and chants and echos), or the Necromancer (plague touch, touch skills, blood renewal).
Rangers are okay, but doesn't offer much (running, stances) to the Dervish (pets take 1-8 slots).
Hope this helps.
