Monk Klausner's and Plastic Noob's Dual UW Full Guide!
Introduction:
Ok, as you can see in the title, this is the guide on how to dual UW with a Famine Ranger and a 55 Monk after the update. This build has been tested by me and my partner ("Plastic noob"), and we successfully completed UW (we also got 2 ectos :P), but it wasn't easy (at least not on the first couple of times). It requires great experience as a 55, not everybody would be able to do it at their first time. The complicated part is the Cold Fires and the Smites, as you will read later on. Well, you have to read carefully the whole guide, and Good Luck to all of you.
The Monk:
This is the build that the Monk will use. It may will look really wierd, but if you will keep on reading you will see that its not. The proffesion is Mo/Me. Good Luck.
The Skills:
1.Protective Spirit: "For 5...19 seconds, target ally cannot lose more than 10% max Health due to damage from a single attack or Spell."
2.Healing Breeze: "For 10 seconds, target ally gains health regeneration of 3...8."
3.Ancestor's Visage: "For 8...18 seconds, whenever target ally is hit by a melee attack, all adjacent foes lose all adrenaline and 3 energy."
4.Spell Breaker [E]: "For 5...15 seconds, enemy spells targeted against target ally fail."
5.Sympathetic Visage: "For 8...18 seconds, whenever target ally is hit by a melee attack, all adjacent foes lose all adrenaline and 3 energy."
6.Mantra of Resolve: "For 30...78 seconds, you cannot be interrupted, but each time you would have been interrupted, you lose 10...5 Energy or
Mantra of Resolve ends."
7.Blessed Aura: "While you maintain this enchantment, Monk enchantments you cast last 10...30% longer."
8.Essence Bond: "While you maintain this "Enchantment", whenever target ally takes physical or elemental damage, you gain 1 Energy."
Attributes:
Basically thats the attributes that I use, but you can change them according to you will. (NOTE: Illusion must stay 9).
Healing Prayers: 9+3+1 = 13
Illusion Magic: 9
Protection Prayers: 8+3 = 11
Divine favor: 10+3 = 13
Weapon:
Your usuall UW 55 weapon. I use a Fiery Flame Spitter of Enchanting as my prime weapon (but you can use any 55 weapon that has a +20% Enchat mod
such as totem axe or rajazans fervor), and a HCT(10%) req 10 divine Customized Fire Damage Holy Rod as my secondary weapon to kill the Night mares with (Fire Damage + Customized + 11-22 = 2 Hits dead). Of Course you will need a -50 Grim Cesta wich you can earn on the quest Cities of Ascalon from Symon the Scribe in Ascalon. Set your weapon sets like that:
Weapon set 1: Primery Weapon + -50 Cesta
Weapon Set 2: Secondary Weapon + -50 Grim cesta
Weapon Set 3: Primary weapon + Nothing (OR -20 offhand which is very usefull)
weapon set 4: Secondary weapon + Nothing (OR -20 offhand)
The armor is your choice, and armor set would fit although I suggest taking the tatoos for more energy.
The Ranger:
Well the Ranger is the one taking care ofthe spirits. The point is the Famine spirit which deals damage to mobs without energy. Its a simple build, but you have to allways stay concentrated. Cast Famine and EoE away from the monk but ensure it is still close enough so that the spirit's effect is in range of the monk and whatever he has tanked. Rebirth for corpse repositioning and Res sig for actual res. Apply poison & Spear of light used for killing colds when needed. During the whole time do not attack anything or move closer to the aggro.
The Skills:
1. Famine [E]: "Create a level 1-8 Spirit. Whenever a non-Spirit creature in its range reaches 0 Energy, that creature takes 10-30 damage. This Spirit dies after 30-78 seconds."
2. Edge of Extinction: "Create a level 1-8 Spirit. For creatures within its range, whenever any creature dies, Edge of Extinction deals 14-43 damage to all nearby creatures of the same type. This Spirit dies after 30-126 seconds."
3. Apply Posion: "For 24 seconds, enemies struck by your physical attacks become poisoned for 3-13 seconds."
4. Spear of Light: "Spear of Light flies toward target foe and deals 26-50 holy damage if it hits. Spear of Light deals +15-51 damage if it hits an attacking foe."
5. Mending: "While you maintain this "Enchantment", target ally gains health regeneration of +1-3."
6. Balthazar's Spirit: "While you maintain this "Enchantment", target ally gains adrenaline and Energy after taking damage. (The amount of adrenaline gained increases depending on your rank in Smiting Prayers.)"
7. Ressurection Signet: "Resurrect target party member. That party member is returned to life with 100% Health and 25% Energy. This signet only recharges when you gain a Morale Boost."
8. Rebirth: "Resurrect target party member. Target party member is returned to life with 25% Health and zero Energy, and is teleported to your current location. All of target's skills are disabled for 10-4 seconds. This spell consumes all your remaining energy."
Attributes:
Healing Prayers: 8
Smiting Prayers: 8
Wildness Survival: 12+3+1
Beast mastery: 7
Weapon:
For a weapon, you can use whatever has +15 Energy mod. It can be anything (Staff, Wand, Bow, Axe, Sword etc..). It has to have +15 Energy. Ofcourse that a weapon with +15 energy and other mods would help but the important thing is the 15 energy mod.

Strategic:
This is the most difficult part, make sure you read the whole thing without skipping!
Aatxe:
The 55 Monk: The point of the Monk here is like the old Duo UW farm, just this time dont aggro more then 3 aatxe or alse it will take an hour long farm because they will flee, as you can see in the video we tried to take a aggro with 7 aatxe but it took us about 5 mins so I cutted the scene. In the first chamber, Start with bonding your 2 Bonds, and before aggro, always make sure that you have Spell Breaker on you and tha you kill the nightmares before starting to enchant with Av and Sv and other chants. Dont rush and make sure that you have enough energy to cast PS, HB, and SB all together. After you feel ok with your aggro cast Sv/Av to make damage and kill them.
The Ranger: The Ranger is here just to make the spirits and keep the enchants on the monk. In the first Chamber cast the 2 enchants on the monk and keep them on you. As mentioned before, always stay back and dont get even close to the aggro zone. Cast Famine and EoE but make sure that the distance is enough for it to get to the monk. Thats the easy part for the ranger but still always keep your eyes open. Basically During the Whole time dont attack and stay back.
1st Movie:
http://files.filefront.com/Aatxewmv/.../fileinfo.html
The Grasps:
The 55 Monk: In my opinion thats the easiest part for the 55 monk. When the Ranger take the quest stand near to the closest spawning group. Aggro them and make sure you have both protective spirit and healing breeze on you. Aggro the First 2 groups only! Once you are confident and when you see famine on you, cast Sv/Av. Soon enough they will start fleeing but you dont move. dont run after them, just stand in your place. Soon they will die.
Do the same thing on the other grasps and the Chamber.
2nd Movie:
http://files.filefront.com/Graspswmv.../fileinfo.html
The Ranger: Same thing as before.
The Smites:
The 55 Monk: Do the same thing over and over like before. The Smites will flee when sv/av is on you but will come back after a couple of seconds. The whole thing goes pretty fast so you gotta keep your eyes open. If there are big aggros keep casting and divine favor will "save you". At the coldfires: You wont be able to kill them if there are no smites in the area (because ss/av workd only on melee damage). To kill them you have to take a group of smites and stand with the smites next to the coldfires, this way they will keep taking damage because of sv/av that will affect them because of the smite's melee damage. Its very hard so you have to keep practicing. If there are 1 or 2 Cold fires left without any smites in the area take out your wand and start killing them (but try to make sure it doesnt happen).
The Ranger: As said before you gotta keep back. Cast Famine and EoE when the monk is ready. If there are 1 or 2 Cold fires left, Cast Apply Poision and Spear of light on them. Make sure that you dont aggro some monsters from other sides.

Rez chant should be used in place of rez sig as it will give you an infinate number of rezings.

If your ranger is running mending, you should only need 9 in healing prayers on the monk to get +10 regen when you're not fighting aataxes (sever artery).
@Lifeblast- He has rebirth, which gives him infinite res + teleport to his location, so he shouldn't need res chant.
That actually brings up an interesting question- you have rebirth, why use res sig? You could easily swap it for something else, like dust trap in case something goes wrong.

Guys i was running this build 5 mins after the update. Rez chant is the best option. It provides full 100% rez wich is all the rez you need to bring a 1hp 55 monk back to life. I posted the build on wiki a while back. Vengence only works for 30 secs then the person dies. Why waste 30 seconds when you can just use rez chant once.

Yeah could be, res chant is also useful,
although you have to remember that its half the normal range.

I wrote the build on wiki. Monk Klausner developed his build totally seperate from mine. You can see that in the different skill choices we made. In fact I've seen multiple people on multiple forrums coming up w/ the exact same conclusion we both made on their own, which only shows how freakin obvious this build is. Hopefully this means we'll see lots of famine rangers around which is what my ultimate goal is anyway. As stated before plz give Monk Klausner his respect for a great idea and a great guide for using it.
