Skills, armor, cool looking bows.
I just made a firey feathered flatbow of fortitude just for the name. And it's my favorite bow skin of all time. I can't wait to see the endgame ranger armor.

Skills, thats it. Too cheap to buy weapons, see no need for FoW, even if I had the money.

the game tends to be a "grind" when your sole purpose is making money. im sure there are tons of people "grinding" through nf as we speak with all of their toons just so they can sell those end game book of secrets for as high a price as possible.

I usually dont have enought money to spend on anything but skills and armors for my new characters. If only there was a fun way to get money, or farming was accually fun for more than one run...

i believe you took that out of context...
and im pretty sure herb doesnt need to grind characters for the book of secrets, i'd hazard a guess hes not that poor yet.
more likely by "grind" he meant spending a day or 2 trading to make a few hundred to a mil plat.

by grind i meant having to spent ages taking a character through factions just to get a set of armor. when you have around 15 characters who would all look good in factions armor it becomes grind and not fun.

i farm and do missions for my money, i spend it on 15k armour (or 1.5k armour if the char is new.) or i spend it on skills or greens/max weapons for my new chars.

armor (gotta have at least one 'expensive' set for my monk from each campaign t.t), weapons (when I find a new build, I just have to get a nice skinned weapon for it) and skills.
